Synopsis

In the year 1900 at the height of the Philippine-American War, a young captain of the Armed Forces of the 1st Republic of the Philippines was sent on a secret mission to retrieve an ancient artifact that could help the Filipinos turn the tide of the war against the imperialistic United States of America. The mission was a direct order from none other than the President himself, Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo. Captain Juan Heraldo together with his company of 5 men embark on the mission, traveling down south of the Philippine Archipelago to search for clues as to the artifact’s whereabout. History never heard of them eversince.

More than a century later a renowned symbologist, linguist and historian of University of the Philippines, Professor Hanrel del Mar awoken by a call while in the middle of his REM sleep. A magnitude 6.7 struck the city of Butuan in CARAGA Region, Northern Mindanao. More than a thousand people lay dead. But what buffled the local authorities the most are the unearthed 6 bronze coffins piled on top of the other under the cracks of the ground beside the statue of Rajah Kolambo. The bodies are wearing  military uniforms that were used by the Army of the 1st Republic. The body in the 6th coffin is holding a cylinder made of ivory. Professor Hanrel is tasked to interpret the ancient writings of symbols engraved on the cylinder. Little did he know that what he's about to find out is a path to an ancient mystery that eluded the eyes of history for almost a thousand years.
