Background: Aurora was born to a wealthy family has an only child. She has an aunt, Maleficent, who is constantly trying to steal her riches. Aurora has three other aunts on her mother's side, who are fairies by the names of Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather. Aurora has been friends with Snow White and Cinderella since middle school. Aurora trains to sing professionally with her great-aunt Doris Rose, the choir teacher at school.
