My heart was pounding as Max said that.
"Adam?" I looked at him. "I love you.", he repeats. I want to answer him but my mouth has other ideas.
My lips find his in a passionate frenzy. I bite his lip gently, asking for entrance. He allows me in and our tongues dance around, exploring the area.
"I love you too.", I whisper as we pull apart. Max smiles and my heart flutters in happiness. There's nowhere I'd rather be.
(Jordan's POV)
How dare he?! He thinks he can just walk out? No. It doesn't work like that. He's mine. He always has been and always will be.
I slam my hand down on the table, anger taking over my actions. Dammit, Adam. You can't make things simple, can you? A sigh escapes my lips.
"I love you. Please come home." My defenses fall for a moment. "Please." A tear caresses my cheek in its bitter embrace.
No more. No more tears. No more waiting. I have to take action. A grin blossoms across my features.
"I'm coming for you, love."
