Hae jin's pov

"Hey, Hae jin. Did you meet him again?" Ara asked me out of the blue.

I stand up and walk to the kitchen. I open the fridge. "Emm, yes?" I said before I drink.

Ara headed to the kitchen as she gets closer to me. "Woah, the world is so cruel. Why would you meet someone who you never want to see again? And after 6 years? Unbelievable." Ara rolled her eyes as we walked back to the living room.

"The world is not cruel. Human is." I spoke, avoided her eye contact.

"Then, did you talk to him?" She asked.

"We've just had a little conversation before I left him alone," I answered back.

"You still love him right?" Ara crossed her arms over her chest, she lifted her eyebrows.

"What?? Pfttt never." My eyes blinked a few times as we look at each other. I cleared my throat. "Shooh, go away!" I pushed Ara far from me because she is too close.

"You love him," Ara smirked. "NOOO!" My eyes expanded. I glimpsed.

"Usually when someone asks 'do you love him?' they usually answered between 'yes' or 'no' but you replied 'never' so you mean it as 'maybe I love him'. Right?" Ara told me as she gave me a suspicious look. She raised her eyebrows again.

Duh, this bitch.

I'm barely sighed. "Okay, time is up now. It's time to go!" I pushed Ara to the front door. "Hey! I'm not done yet!" I took her coat and handbag. I passed to her who is already outside of the house.

"That's enough for today! Thank you for spending your time with me! Bye!" I waved then banged the door.

It's not maybe I love him. I still, love him.

I hold my chest as I can feel the pain of heartbreak.

"Seo Hae jin! Can you please stop thinking about him." I shook my head. I just can't get him out of my mind. I continue walking on the street.

Isn't it nice if I can drive and have a car? So I don't have to wait for the bus.

"Hae jin ah..." I stopped walking as I heard someone called my name. I turn around.

"Jae hyun.." I said. Jae hyun is the person who called my name. He walked closer to me.

"Why are you here?" I asked. My heart skipped a beat.

He smiled. "I'm looking for you. I just waited for you here just in case I bump to you. This is the first place where we met though." He pointed to the bus stop.

"What do you want?" I give him a glare. I really don't want to talk to him right now. Jae hyun sighed. He runs a hand through his hair.

"Listen Hae jin, we need to talk." He answered. I take a step away from him.

"We don't have anything to talk about." I coldly replied. As I'm about to walk away, he grabbed my right hand.

"It's been 6 years, don't you have something to say to me?"

"That's completely absurd. Why would I have something to say to you? Did you think that I'm the old Hae jin?" My eyebrows furrowed.

He stays still.

"Do you remember the day when you confessed to me?" Jaeyun changed the topic yet, he's still holding my hand.

"Why did you bring this topic out of sudden? That was a long time ago and I don't remember." I lied.

How can I forget the day you break my heart.

"I know you still remember. Because that's the first thing that you said to me when we met after 6 years."

I stayed silents. Speechless.

"That's not the real story. You need to know what really happened." Jae hyun added. His eyes look sad. I pulled my hand from his grips.

"Whenever I think about you, I feel like I really wanna break your heart and make you cry just like what you did to me." I let out the words that I've been keeping inside of my heart.

"You can do whatever you want, hate me, cursed me, or resent me. But only after you know what happened on that day. Please, hear me out." Jae hyun said.

"Make it quick," I said.

"That day.......I came back, to find you.." His gaze looks pitiful as he's been bottled up his feelings.

"W-wh-what?" I stammered. I blankly stare at him.

As we stare on each other, my mind is replaying on the day where he broke my heart.
