YOU ARE NEXT

~Chapter 2~

EMILY POV.

  I noticed Jackson being pulled by Aaron towards my locker and I guess Zoe and Nikki noticed it too.
 
   "Emily, Jackson is coming over here." She squealed. I hate when she does that.
 
   "Good luck. We will meet you in class." Nikki said giving me a thumbs up.
 
   "Don't you dare leave me, please."  I whined.
  
   Nikki pulled Zoe to our next period has they were both about to entered , Zoe turned back and winked at me. I turned my attention to Jackson and Aaron.

   Jackson gave Aaron the 'I got this' look which made Aaron let go of him and he headed to his first class. He continued to walk towards me until he finally got to my locker. He leaned on Paige's locker which was opposite mine.

   "Hi." He smiled.

   That smile is the cutest and the most adorable thing I have ever seen. His smile lights up my whole world. I should probably reply now.

   "Hi." I said.
 
    "How was your summer?"
 
   "Okay and yours?"
 
   "Normal stuff. I just went on a vacation with Paige that's all." He said.

   At the  mention of Paige's name made my whole body boil. That girl just makes me angry.

  "Cool."
 
  "So I wanted to ask you if you would like to hang out with me." He asked. Did he just ask me out? Noo, maybe is another study session.
 
  "Yeah."
 
   "So there is this new restaurant that just opened and I was wondering if you would like to go with me." He said staring at the floor as if there was something interesting there. But wait, did he just ask me out? I think he is waiting for an answer.
 
  "Yeah sure." I said with a smile.
 
   "Really?!" He asked raising one of his eyebrow. Is he really surprised I said yes to him. I should be surprised he asked me out.
 
   "Yeah." I said with another smile.
 
   "Well, cool. I have to go to class now before the bell rings." He said, he gave me a small wave before heading to his first period.
 
   But did he just ask me out? I know this is like my third time asking. It is just so surprising and unreal. Maybe it is a dream a should definitely pinch myself to make sure it isn't a dream.
 
   "Ouch. That was stupid. So I guess it isn't a dream." I whispered to my self, then suddenly the bell rang.
 
   I entered my class and I saw Nikki and Zoe. I gave them a small wave but I guess they didn't notice it because they didn't turn to look at me. I walked over to my seat and sat down.
 
   Finally they noticed me.
 
   "So, how was it?" Zoe asked.
 
  "What?" I pretended not to know what she was talking about.
 
   "You want us to spell it out for you, Emily." Nikki said.

   As I was about to talk our teacher came in. I guess our first period as started.

 
PAIGE POV.

   I hate first day of schools. It is always stressful and I have to greet people I don't like. Today was awful. Mainly because of that bitch, Emily.

   "I can't believe she said that." I said.

   "Are you talking about what Zoe and Nikki did?" She asked.

   "No." I lied. With the way she looked at me I could tell that she knew I was lying.
 
   "Ok, if you say so. So how was so summer?" She asked.

   "It was fine. I spent it with Jackson. I could tell he was in to me with the way he was behaving." I said trying to remember our summer vacation.
 
  "So you saw Mason?" Amelia said. She always had a crush on him for a pretty long time.
 
  "Yeah." I said.
 
  "Did you say anything about me?"
 
   "Why would I?" I asked.
  
   I didn't want Amelia to like Mason because according to his school record he was a player. But Amelia still liked him. Now that he is in college I could tell that he has gotten worse. I don't want her to get hurt with him. She is my bestie and she doesn't deserve some one like that.
 
   "Oh." She said with a sad tone.
  
   "Of course I mentioned your name." I said with a smile.
 
  "Really, Thanks." She said.
 
   I noticed that Aaron walked into the class but no Jackson. I didn't like Aaron being around him because since he liked Zoe he could make Jackson like that bitch.
 
  "Yo girls." He said.
 
   "Where is Jackson?" I asked.
  
  "Don't be rude Paige. Hi Aaron." she said with a smile.
 
  "Thanks Amelia." He said emphasizing on Amelia's name.
 
  "Where is Jackson?" I asked again. But no response.
 
"Aaron, where is Jackson?" She asked politely.
 
   "Are u seriously trying to make me feel bad?' I glared at her.
 
    "Oh,am sorry. I didn't realize you felt that way." She said feeling sorry. Now I feel bad.
  
   "No, Amelia. I am sorry." I said with a smile and gave her a quick hug.

   "Its okay." She said with a smile.

   I faced Aaron. "And Aaron am sorry,okay. So,are we good?" I asked.
 
  "Sure." he said with a smile." And Jackson is with Emily." He said.

   As I was about to yell the teacher came into the class, so did Jackson. I can't believe he talked to Emily. May be it is another study session or something else.  I must find out what they talked about.
