Chapter 1

At the party bar in Foosha Village, a group of pirates were seen drinking and having fun. Sitting at the bar is a seven-year-old boy named Monkey D. Luffy and next to him is a red-haired man with a straw hat who eats a plate of food.

"Hey, you have to take me with you on your next adventure Shanks. I want to be a pirate like you!" Luffy said with a big smile on his face while staring at the red-haired man who is now named Shanks. Shanks looked up from his food and turned towards Luffy and started laughing.

"Hahahaha! Right as if you can become a pirate." Shanks said.

"Why can't I do it?" Luffy asked. A large man who ate a piece of meat answered his question.

"Listen Luffy, you might be a good swimmer, but that doesn't mean you will be a good pirate," said Lucky Roo while eating his meat.

"But I'm also a great fighter, my punch is like a gun!" he said, holding out his fist to look. It was a funny sight for everyone to see in the bar.

"Are they now?" said Shanks with a mouth full of food.

"What does it mean!" Luffy shouted. Lucky Roo laughed and spoke

"He means you are too small, son," said Lucky Roo

"And he's right, you know, I have a son who is older than you," Yasopp said. A check mark formed on Luffy's forehead before he started shouting at them.

"I'm not a child! I'm an adult!" he shouted at the top of the lungs. He was let out of his scream by the voice of Shanks.

"There's juice and lid here," Shanks said as he thrust a glass of orange juice at Luffy. Luffy's eyes sparkled and he smiled broadly.

"Wow, thanks, Shanks," he said as he began to drink juice. When he started drinking Shanks started laughing at him while hitting the bar table.

"I don't know a pirate who drinks juice!" Shanks said while laughing.

"That's a dirty trick!" Luffy shouted causing everyone at the bar to laugh out loud,"Stop laughing! That's a cheap shot!" he shouted at the rest of the pirates. While all this happened to the bar owner, Makino watched the interaction between Luffy and the pirate with a warm smile on his face. Suddenly the bar door was kicked off its hinges and flew to the bar.

"Excuse me." said the tall man standing at the door. At this point, the entire bar is silent while looking at the door. The man who led another group of men to the bar was a tall dark man with black hair, black beard, and an X-shaped scar above his right eye. He wore a long red coat over a white shirt, black trousers, and a gold necklace. "So this is what applies to pirates around this section. It looks rather sad, to be honest," he said as he walked to the bar and stood next to Shanks.

"Welcome, gentlemen, what can I do for you?" Makino asked.

"We're mountain bandits, but we didn't come here to tear up your place. All we want is sake. Let's just say ten barrels must be done." he said to Makino.

"Sorry, we're out of liquor," Makino said in fear.

"Hmm, it's strange what these pirates are drinking" asked the mountain bandits, "fruit juice".
