* Hi my name is Jazz , I am a junior at the Studies of Art . I am 17 years old , I live with my grandma and have a best friend named Ariana .

I wake up to hear my alarm clock going off . " JAAAZZZZZ ... Its time for schoool " I hear my grandma yell up the stairs , "HERE I COME " I screamed back . I get out of bed and went to do my morning hygiene , I put on some ripped jeans and a gray sweater to go with my gray Jordans . I put on some diamond earring before heading down .

" Took you long enough " my grandma said with a mean look on her face . "See you later grandma I'm finna be real late if I don't start walking now " I say with a big smile on my face . "Girl ... get out I'm to damn old for this shit "  I laughed before heading to the door "god gon get you " I mumble while walking out the house . "Girl shut up and go to school " I started running once she said that .

I was in second period waiting for the bell to ring so I can go to my locker and get some skittles ( I have a big sweat tooth don't judge me ) I turn my head back to see a this ugly ass nigga  looking at me . " peak a boo I see you too damn , Ik I look good and all but you ain't got to stare at me " I say with a mean mug on my face . " Girl chill if I wanted you I can have you " says the boy in the back . "Boy stfu " is all I say rolling my eyes at him . "JAZZ DETENTION " I hear from the front of the class , there stood my Spanish teacher at the front of the class . I look at her in the eyes giving her the " if I wasn't in school I'll bet the fuck out of you " face , in the back of me I hear a loud laugh making me break my neck to the back " Mr.Carter u can laugh your way to detention too " I smile while he sat back with a nasty look on his face as the bell ring dismissing us from the class .

It's after school and I was heading to the to detention room putting my head phones in as I enter the room . " no headphones for the first 15 mins you have to write why your here " says my Spanish teacher handing me a form before leaving out of the classroom , I go and take a seat in the back of the class .
"Hi to you too " I look up to see that ugly ass boy that was laughing at me in the classroom earlier . " boy I don't fucking know you " I say rolling my eyes finishing up my form getting up to put it in the basket and sitting back down , putting my headphone back in going to text my best friend .

I leave her on seen when I see the boy looking at me again he ain't really look ugly but Ik he was the biggest player around and I ain't fucking with it . He start to walk my way coming to my desk and leaning on it , " wassup with you ma " he say like he was cool or some . I roll my eyes before putting my hand up to his face . He smiles showing of his dimples and puts my hand down slowly , then he smiles bigger and ask "why u don't like me ma " . I look at him up and down like he was stupid and said " because I know what boys like you do to girls , y'all fuck then duck so I don't want you " he looked at me still smiling kind of shocked only to smile even bigger . Then he was finna say something that made his smile go down a little .

" Do you want to make a bet " he says with curiosity in his eyes . " it depends on the bet " I said with a plain blank face on , he starts smiling again saying " If you can make me fall for you I'll leave you alone and never talk to you again " I look up shaking my head for him to go on " If I win however you have to be my girlfriend " I look at him in shock signing a piece of paper that he pulled out and looking at his hand as I was finna shake it . Before my hand touched his I said " when will this start and end " he looks at me for a moment before saying " come to my party tonight and I'll tell you when we start and we end whenever the other falls in love " he says with a serous face . Before I can say something back the teacher came in and looked at us with blank eyes . " U two can leave now " she said as if she really want us to hurry up and go . I look back at him one more time before grabbing all my stuff and heading out .

I get to the house to see that my grandma wasn't there . Me being me thinking that she went to bingo or something . I went in the freezer and found me some leftover food to warm up . I put it in the microwave before checking my social media , on all of them I see that Carter had added me on all of them . I finished adding him back while talking my food and some other snacks up to my room so  i can watch some movies before I had to get up and go to that party . Before I was finna get started I got a call from a unknown number I answer it to hear Carter on the other end of it ...

CARTER : " wassup with you lil ma "

JAZZ : " Boy what do you want " 

CARTER : " u ain't got to be rude lil nigga I was just calling to see if you smoked so you won't be lonely at the party "

JAZZ : "yea me and my best smoke but I gtg I'm finna gts watching a movie "

CARTER : " I ain't ask but ok ttyl and make sure you where some sexy to show of that body of yours bae tty soon "

I was finna say something but he hung up in my face leaving me all bubbly , I brushed it off and went back to watching my movie before dozing off to sleep ....
