At first, Michael was hopeful that he would see Ashley again. However as time drew on, he began to realize that it wasn't so. Then one day, Michael gave up on that hope.
'I'm not going to see Ashley ever again, let's just face it. She is just a person who came and disappeared. It's now time to forget about her. She probably forgot about you, and made new friends, probably better ones. Now you have to move on' Michael's conscience said to him that day. Michael agreed with his conscience and made new friends in an attempt to move on. In two months, two boys named Lewis and Clark were Michael's best friends. They were always hanging out, sometimes staying over at ones house for a night. They had inside jokes, they were inseparable. If you found one of the pals, you would be bound to find the other pals nearby.
This friendship lasted until the day Michael had to move because of Motown. Lewis and Clark were devastated just like how Michael was when Ashley left. Michael advised them to move on because they might not see him again. Lewis and Clark were crying their eyes out as Michael got in his Dad's van and drove off to their new home.
By the bright side, the Jackson woman haven't left yet but they were leaving in a month or so. Lewis and Clark would go to their house just to get the feel that Michael was still there. One day before the Jackson woman left, Lewis asked Latoya where did Michael move to. "He moved to California and the rest of us will be going there as well. I'm so excited to be living in the state with celebrities and Hollywood! Oh, where's my bathing suit?" Latoya answered with excitement. Lewis hung his head down. 'California? That's too far and that is a big state. Who knows what part in California Michael lives in? Michael was right, Clark and me will never see Michael again and that we have to move on'Lewis thought. So when the day arrived and the Jackson woman left, Lewis and Clark knew they needed to go on with life and get new friends. In Gary, a dangerous and poor city in Indiana.
Meanwhile in California, Michael had to make new friends. Again sadly. So Michael went out while Joe and his brothers were finishing with packing. Michael was strolling down the street when he bumped into a girl. The girl had short brown hair that was neck length. She had pale skin with little pimples on her forehead. She was wearing a blue peace shirt with bell bottom jeans. Typical hippie look without the long hair. "I'm so sorry" Michael said. "It's ok. I'm Yolanda, you?" The girl replied. "Oh I'm Michael" Michael said. "Wanna take a walk with me Yolanda?" Michael asked her. "Sure!" Yolanda said happily as she linked arms with Michael's walking down the street. When they got to know each other, Michael knew that he still missed Ashley. Yolanda reminded him a lot about Ashley. Yolanda is nice, funny, and smart. Yolanda's eyes would twinkle the same way Ashley's would if something interesting was going on. "You know, you remind me a lot of a friend I used to have" Michael said to her. "I do? Wow, what happened?" She asked with concern. "Well, it was a girl and she was my bestest friend in this Earth. We've been close since we were two years old. But she moved three years ago" Michael told her. "What was her name?" Yolanda asked. "Ashley" Michael replied sighing. "You mean Ashley Davis?" She asked. Michael's eyes widened. "Yes her, how did you know?" "I know because she is my neighbor" Yolanda replied.

-A/N: OMG, what do you guys think about this?! Now Michael can reunite with her! But the question is: Will it be how it was like back in Indiana or will it be different?
