This is information you will need before you read this story. The story has no real time set but it is set in 1880s-ish but is a bit based off of the 1964 ( no cars, old buildings, poufy dresses but not as much in this story ) So the dresses and sleeves and etc. will most likely have lace, ruffuals, and bows. Like in Marry Poppins or Alice, from Alice and Wonderland.
Because of that it will take a bit to describe the clothes. If you have not noticed both of the main characters ( Estela Alvarez and Noel Santaná) have Spanish last names, so this story will be set in Spain. Also Esti lives a bit away from town with a pretty forest in-between. (no but really man, look up forests in Spain, it's the coolest thing ever). Now with the characters and their families!

Her 3 older siblings were all forced into marriage with the same family at the same time. Max didn't like his par (They got stuck together, but they ended up loving each other and have 3 kids now) Ana liked her par from the start and Bell just put up with it. And that left Esti lonely :( cause she has no friends outside the huge house she lives in.
But a long time ago (when max was 11 and she was 3) when her mother died it made max really sad to stay in the house so he snuck off into the forest and found a hallow tree and made ladders going up and a swing 2 feet away from the ground. So they go there a lot.
