Chapter 24: The Kurenai's

It was a stormy night as Juri, Mizuki and little toddler Shibuya stayed home as Haruka and Raiben step out.

Juri have seen Mizuki acting a bit weird. A lot of things had happen with Rido trying to kill Mizuki to bring the first Kurenai alive, he had almost suceded if Haruka haven't gotten their on time. He say his baby daughter almost killed, but she wasnt if he didn't drain half of his energy, but since that day Mizuki wasn't the same she would look out the window almost sencing a precence.

"Mama~ when is Oniisama coming back?" 6 year old Mizuki said as she watch a 3 year old Shibuya being burp.

"Soon sweetie, Raiben just had...a play date" she said a bit sarcasticly imagining Raiben in a different environment also Haruka. She laugh at the thought.

"What's so funny mama?" Mizuki ask as her golden hazel eyes look up and the same pair as her mother's.

"Nothing honey...just my imagination" Juri said with her smile.

It amazing how Shibuya look different, honey colored hair and reddish brown eyes, it's amazing how he looks like granpa kurenai.

As Mizuki played with her doll and Juri was watching some TV with a sleepy Shibuya on her lap, a commercial from Tougo, the Kurenai knew he was the vampire king of his race, but he has tried to dethore Haruka for the pureblood Thorne.

Juri was best friend with on of Tougo or Karl wife Christa, they went to the same school together. She knew Christa didn't love him, but later own was in a mix feelings after she had their son Subaru.

"Mama~ it's that man again" Mizuki said a bit with discuss in her face.

"Just ignore what he has to say...the commercial will be over...later" Juri said turning of the TV.

"Juri, Mizuki, Shibuya! We're home!" Said Hakura as he was latter shh...by his wife and daughter.

"Papa~ ototochan is sleeping" said Mizuki as she was lifted up by her father arms and snuggle to death.

"so Raiben how was your little play date" Juri said as she pinch her son's cheek teasingly.

"Mother...it wasnt a play date" Raiben said with a blush embarrass face.

"Babe...his play date was playing with other boys" Haruka said as he sat down next to his wife with Mizuki on his lap.

"Daaaaaaad" Raiben said embarrest.

"Mama~ Papa~" said Mizuki getting their attention, "his year" she continued.

"Yeah, I can sense him as well" Raiben said and Shibuya got all fuzzy.

"Haruka" said Juri worried as she look at her husband.

"Everything will be fine" he said placing Mizuki down on the floor, "I'll be right back" he said reassuring hos family as he left. He went outside and say other then his older brother Rido, who was also Juri abuses admirer.

"What do you want Rido?" Haruka said with a displacent look on his face, "if you think-"

"Look brother, Mizuki has a porpoise in her life...you can't deny her that" Rido said with a devilish smirk.

"You bastard!!!" Haruka shouted, "how their you say those words in my presence!" He continued as he walk outside of the poarcj and into the snow.

"Like it or not brother Mizuki will one day learn the truth and when she does.........she will play her part" Rido said not letting his smirk faded.

"I give you this one chance...walk away and never come back"

"And if not?" Rido interrupted.

"I'll kill you!!!!" Haruka shouted.

"Hahahahaha" Rido said bursting into laughter, but then his fun stop as a blood made monster sank his sharp fang in the center of his skull. A monster made by Haruka.

"Haruka!!!" Juri shouted from the front porch.

"Get back inside Juri" said Haruka a bit limp, "take care of the kids! Get them to some place safe!" He said with his back agaist her watching Rido every move and with that Juri left with the 3 kids. And then she did turn Mizuki into a human girl which lives with the Sakamaki's and is called Raven.

And this is how the Kurenai's got tangled with all this maddness.
