Opposites Attract

Alyssa

(This chapter is just to get to know her, the next one will hopefully be longer)

Alyssa was born on a Friday, October 13, 2005. She lives in a small town just outside of Illinois. Everyone in her town thinks of her as bad luck. Everywhere she goes, something bad always happens so she is kind of an outsider. She is 17 and not very proud of it. Every year on her birthday, almost everyone stays away from her. It is always the worst day ever. On her birthday, the bad luck seems to triple somehow and it gets very bad. She always tries to stay away from as many people as possible on her birthday, because of this. No body knew what caused the bad luck and doctors cant explain it. Luckily, the town is small, and her and her family live in the edge of it. Nobody lives right next to her, so she always feels lonely. Alyssa's parents decided early that she would be homeschooled to better control it. She starts to make friends, then something happens and it always drives them away. She's never had a real friend before except for her parents and it has made her sad over the years.
