the sound of my ringing phone filled my ears as i sat up rubbing my eyes. i looked down at my phone to see the name 'Brazil' across the screen. I answered to see smiley Brazil across the screen.
"Whats got you so happy?" i asked crawling out of my bed to look in a mirror, propping my phone near the sink.
"New student. Its 7:40, why are you just waking up?" she asked narrowing her eyes at me as i walked over to my closet.
"Oh shoot! Really?" i hurried up a bit after a quick glance at the clock to see she was right. "Which one?" i asked holding up 2 shirts.
"black one." she said messing with her nails.
"yellow one it is!" i said replacing my hoodie with a yellow shirt that said 'honey' in the corner.
"which shoes?" i asked holding up checkered vans and white air force 1s.
"vans 100 percent." she said applying some mascara.
"ok nice."
at Sherwood, its tradition, every time we get a new student, everyone is the best version of themselves because they want another member to their 'crew'.
i threw on some ripped jeans, a white scrunchy, a golden necklace and applied light makeup.

"ok ill be there in 5." i said grabbing my keys and throwing my backpack over my shoulder.
"Zealand! Ill be there in 2 just wait." Brazil said.
"Brazil? You ever wonder why our parents named us how they did? I mean, Brazil and Zealand. Both places." i asked plopping onto the couch.
"No clue. Stop thinking things before you hurt your brain." She said laughing.
"Is the kid a boy or a girl?" I asked, tilting my head at her as she pulled out of her driveway.
"Boy. Do you know him?" she asked glancing at her phone.
"Geez Brazil. I need more information if your gonna ask if i know him." i said rolling my eyes in a playful way.
"Chase Hudson? I guess he has a large following on insta like we do." she said.
"Nope. Never heard of the kid." i replied redoing my messy bun.
"Ok well, i'm here so, come on." she said hanging up.
i ran outside sliding my phone in my back pocket. i hopped in her car to hear 'Boys will be Bugs by Cavetown' starting. It was me and Brazils song so we sung it on out way to school.
"IM A DUMB TEEN BOY! I EAT STICKS AND ROCKS AND MUD! I DONT CARE ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT AND I REALLY NEED A HUG!" we both sang/screamed the lyrics.
"i feel stupid. ugly. pretend it doesn't bother me. i'm not very strong but, ILL FUCK YOU UP IF YOUR MEAN TO BUGS!" we both sang the first part but then yelled the last. i of course skipped the f word. cussing wasn't my thing.
we pulled up to school after our jam session.
"i'm guessing he's over...there." i pointed to a huge group of people surrounding somebody. we both started laughing waling towards the swam of girls.
"Leave the newbie alone!" Brazil yelled as she was holding my wrist in one hand and pushing her way through the crowd with the other.
"Hey. You must be Chase. The new kid." Brazil said as we finally arrived in the middle causing everybody to leave.
"uh...yeah." the boy said hesitantly.
He had brown hair split perfectly in the middle. His blue eyes were the most beautiful shade of blue ever. he had a small smile chiseled on his face. he was tall and thin. my first thought was 'maybe he had anorexia like i did' but i dont know him or his past so i cant just assume.
"Well this is Zealand, Zee or Zeal. I'm Brazil or Liz." she said as i gave a small 'hi'.
"Can i see your schedule?" Brazil asked me.
"uh..you know my schedule," i replied confused, "its halfway through the year..i dont have it anymore."
"Right. Chase, can I see yours?" she asked him as he handed her his schedule.
"ok so, Chase, just me and you have 1 class together. Zee, just you and chase have 5 classes together. All of us have 1 class together. Chase you have no classes alone! All with either Zealand, Me or Both." she said handing his schedule back to him.
Chase's POV
Zealand walked away to get coffee from the cafe so i was about to go onto my phone when Brazil pulled me over into a corner.
"You and Zee." she said smiling. Not asking. Saying.
"What?" i asked, extremely confused based on the fact that i barely met them about 3 minutes ago.
"I ship...YOU...and...ZEALAND." she said as if she was talking to a 5 year old.
"i dont know her. or you really." i said trying not to sound mean.
"ok well...s-" she was cut off by Zealand walking over.
"we met like 5 minutes ago and you too lovebirds are already making out in a corner? gross," she said sipping her coffee, "ew. this coffee is nasty." she said throwing it away.
"no! We were talking." Brazil said.
"About?" she asked.
"you are extremely nosey!" Brazil said laughing. Me and Zealand exchanged a quick smile and then Brazil asked, "do you have an insta?"
"uh yeah its @lilhuddy." i said brushing my hands through my hair.
"whats yours?" Brazil said turning to Zealand.
"You know mine!" she said hitting her shoulder laughing.
"Hers is @newzealand and mine is @brazilriders." she said looking back and forth between us two.
Zealand is pretty. like REALLY FUCKING BEAUTIFUL. Her hair was light brown with blonde highlights. her eyes were blue/green with a strip of hazel. her smile was just adorable.
"oh shoot we're gonna be late." Zealand said as the bell rang.
"just say shit." Brazil said looking annoyed that she wouldn't cuss.
"oh...so you a goodie goodie?" i said laughing as they both joined in.
we walked to math as they fought and i just sat back and laughed at their adorable stupidity. mainly Zealand being adorable...
