little did Blossom know that somewhere else, another redhead was having a similar conversation with his brothers..

"Brick, just ask her!" Butch yelled at him

"No! She hates me!" Brick yelled back in response

his brother had been making fun of him all afternoon for not asking Blossom out when he had the chance.

"Well she's gonna keep on hating you if you don't man up and show her that your interested!" Butch argued back and plopped himself on his bed in their shared bedroom.

"she was being all weird and I didn't want to freak her out by just randomly asking her out to homecoming" brick responded, tone now lighter as he settled himself on butches bed. The game really wore him out, he now realized while laying down.

"I get that, but how's she supposed to not be weird around you when you don't give her a sign" butch sighed and passed Brick a bag of Doritos from his snack drawer.

"Guys!" Boomer yelled, running into their bedroom urgently.

"what?" They both responded in sync

boomer took a second to look at both of his brothers laying on the bed, seemingly bonding before giving them a weird look and joining in, laying down between them.

"I think bubbles knows bricks gotta thing for Bloss" Boomer said, before showing them both a text message she had sent him

"Why did you send her the embarrassed face!" Brick groaned aggressively

"I don't know, I wasn't sure how to respond!" Boomer said, gesturing with his hands towards the text

"What if she meant the other sister" butch said solemnly, turning an aggressive look towards Brick who was completely oblivious

"ohmygoshwhatdowedo" Brick says running his hands through his hair while boomer assured butch she couldn't have meant buttercup

"Huh?" Both brothers turn to him in question

"What. Do. We. Do" Brick emphasized

"You ask Blossom out, obviously!" Butch throws his hands in the air in desperation

"Oh my- no!" Brick argues back

"Okay stop— stop" Boomer says, before any more conflict occurs, they were both giving him a headache

"Brick, text her" he says solemnly

"Wha— why would"

"Just do it Brick. Trust the boy with a girlfriend" Boomer nods towards bricks phone that was set on the table charging

Brick gave him a weird look but went and grabbed his phone regardless
