Broken Strings

When logic doesn't feel so right.

Forth was silent for long.

"I'll tell him myself Max. I'll talk to him soon." Forth

"Thanks Boss, its been weighing on my shoulder for a while now. Now I just have to prepare myself for a few punches from both of them. Shit they both sure are scary." Max as he shivers of the thought of receiving a few punches from Park and Lam for helping Forth hide.

"Don't worry Max, I'll explain it to them." Forth

Lam is inside Forth's old apartment. He still comes here, hoping Forth show up and finally comes home . He knows Forth will never let go of this property, he treasures this apartment more than his very own family house.

Lam makes sure this apartment is always clean just in case Forth comes back any time.

Lam was about to leave the apartment when he meet the person he waited for long. Just as he took the door knob and leave the unit.

As a quick response Lam blasted the door just before Forth can step in as if seeing a ghost, not that he is afraid of one. Maybe he just needed a few seconds to calm his nerves or maybe his anger?

To say that he is dumbfounded is an understatement. He waited for this day, still he never thought it would be now.

As he thought he is now a little calmer he opened back the door for Forth who he sees leaning on the parallel wall.

"Can I enter on my apartment now?" Forth

"Shit! Damn freaking fuck you Jaturapoom!!! Don't surprised me like this!!! Fucking asshole, where have you been all this time???!!! Answer me jerk, because I am not letting you off the hooked this time! Don't challenge me, you will end up with broken bones before you disappear on me again you piece of shit!" Lam as he fire his curses like a bullet to Forth.

So okay maybe Lam needs more than just a minute of calming his nerves.

"I get it Lam, I am an asshole. I am all ears. Just in case you want to add more." Forth's sarcastic reply.

"Yes, you are and more! I am so shocked Forth! You... you suddenly appearing in front of me now. Just a while ago, I was picturing you coming back here. And then boom!, you are really here. I can't believe I am finally seeing you step inside this apartment and not an apparition. And yes, you are a first grade Asshole." Lam in all mockery

"Thanks. Nice friend with very encouraging words of wisdom. This is my apartment, it should be me getting surprise in finding you here Lam." Forth fires back more.

"Don't start with me Forth! You owe me a lots of explaining!!!." Lam explodes

" Fine! Sorry! And thank you. I know I owe you a lot Lam. Your luck, your best friend is a first grade Asshole. I know you have been cleaning up my mess this whole time." Forth gives his timid smile to Lam

" Good that you Know! Shit I have been wanting to punch you endless until you regain your lost senses Forth. Or maybe throw your head with a hard rock, just to knock some sense on you! Stop disappearing! It's not helping with anything at all!" Lam

"Sorry, I am still not ready Lam." Forth

"Fuck! Stop giving me that excuse Forth! When will you even be ready? I knew you Forth, like the back of my palm. You are not afraid of everything, except for one! Damn I have been locating you for months and I cannot find a clue where you are. And just after Beam comes back, you finally show up. " Lam

"He told you? You met him?" Forth is both anxious and excited to hear anything of Beam.

"Yeah! And he is disappointed in you Forth! Oh please don't let me add another paragraph of curses for you! You acted like a freaking scared cat in front of him that he misunderstood!!
! He thought you are scared to be seen with him in public. As if you loathe the idea of being linked to him again! " Lam

"You know its not like that Lam." Forth

" Yes Forth, but Beam is different! I sense he has this trauma of creating a problem and be a burden to you. In the first place that is the reason you broke up and so he can't help but to feel that way.
Stop it Forth. Stop running away. If you still want Beam take him. If not, don't just hide yourself from the world, accept and totally move on from it. And if your only guilt tripping, ask for Beam's forgiveness,even if you are not forgiven! Man up please! You are our boss not for Nothing! Please redeem yourself Forth, this is not you. " Lam

"Its not simple Lam, Beam has his own life now. Me is not on the picture anymore. Maybe someone new . He has a daughter now. I can't even ask if he has a wife now. He has totally move on." Forth

"Full of craps Forth! That are the same words, Beam told me about you too. You escaped from him the last time and exactly give the same impression to him. He also thinks he is no one to you too." Lam

"And to tell you, he is not married. If that is what you are afraid of Forth. I need to look things for you ahead. I know you are itching to know it." Lam

"But he has a baby Lam, its wrong to drag Beam with my life. Their privacy will be exploited again Lam." Forth

"Fuck Forth! You think I never thought of that?! Then what do you want to do? Be miserable your whole life? Beam will not come to you Forth! Not unless you comes to him yourself! " Lam

"But the baby Lam." Forth

" I don't know Beam's relation to the mother of the child Forth, but the baby is adopted. And don't worry I promise this time I will do my job better. Just tell me straight Forth, your order!" Lam

" Get or leave Beam alone Forth? Well you probably have to prey from the start if you decide to choose Beam. Anyways you are good at that Boss. I'll follow your order even if your acting a complete dumb right now . Just be clear in what you want. Partly this is my fault too. " Lam

"Help me Get My Beam back Lam. " Forth now in a more determined voice.

" Nice! Got it Boss. Loud and clear. Don't worry we've got your back." Lam.
