How I Am

I watched you get up first
through cloudy morning eyes.
I twisted and turned and let my breath out, a slight sound accompanying it.
I smiled
with my eyes still shut.
Your dogs kept barking but they make me laugh too much to care.
I patted into the bathroom,
laughed when I saw my hair in the mirror,
And when I walked out you laughed with me.
Later you asked to braid it
and even though your carpet is uncomfortable, I very gladly took a seat
between ur legs on the floor.
We sat on your couch and watched fail videos all day
it was one of the loveliest days I've had in a while.
