It was the freaking demonic cultivator, the oh-so-feared Jianjun-zun, sulking. Like a child.

There was just something wrong with that image. If anybody else were to see him like this, they would have been sure they were hallucinating. And if he didn't know better, MingJue would have believed that he was being manipulated.

After all, the idea that Jianjun-zun was moping as though somebody had stolen his candy, was just preposterous.

"What's the matter MingYu?"

Nie MingJue had to commend Xichen for his eternal patience. That man didn't even bat an eyelid when their supposed friend was acting as though he were an infant. [He wondered if he would be able to reach that point...]

"A-Ying and Wanyin dragged me here too early," the demonic cultivator finally stood up and seated him on the bench, instead of crouching in the corner.

Nie MingJue really wanted to get rid of that image.

"What do you mean, MingYu?" Xichen asks confused.

"I wanted to stay there for a little longer."

Nie MingJue twitched when MingYu, honest to god, pouts. [Everyone would have a field day with this.] If this continued any longer, if MingYu continued acting out of character, then he wouldn't be responsible for what happens afterward.

There was only so much he could handle.

"You wanted to stay with the Wens.. longer?" Xichen says hesitantly, quickly glancing at MingJue, who had been twitching for a while now.

He didn't know whether MingYu was brave or just a plain idiot, for a lack of better word. For him to bring up Wens in front of the Nie was just... Even if the man may have agreed to put aside his hatred, didn't mean that he would appreciate such thoughts.

These worries of the First Jade were promptly crushed when MingJue bellowed out, "Stop pouting! You're a man so act like one!!"

...Huh, this was different.

If there was something that Nie MingJue knew very well, it was that dealing with Wei MingYu was like dealing with a storm. As in, not being able to deal with at all. The only thing you could actually do was to let the storm run its due course.

It was the same with MingYu. You had no choice but watch how the situation would unfold. You had no control.

MingYu did and so did his little, annoying minions [Stygian and Amulet, a voice that suspiciously sounded like Xichen's, resounded in MingJue's head.]

Those twin ghosts had been, well, not a nightmare but close enough. For whatever reason, those two enjoyed following him around and scaring the s*** out of his disciples. How they reached Qinghe in the first place, he doesn't know, but he really wants to find out. [Admittedly, he can't deny that their presence actually aided in mentally strengthening his clan. But obviously, MingYu wouldn't have sent his two tag-alongs just for that reason, right?]
