Chapter Twelve (Part Three) - Redone

“I know what he did was wrong but why do we have to be the one to do it?” Sarah asked me.

“It’s because of the fact we can turn off our emotions Sarah?” I told her

“I understand the why of it Elizabeth. My question for you though is us killing him because of what he did to all those others, or are we killing him because he betrayed us and broke our hearts?” Sarah asked

After she asked me that I felt her fade away in my mind. I understood where she was coming from though in a way. Even though we could turn off our emotions it was a risk.

The longer our emotions were off the harder it was to get them back. I turned mine off for over a week now which was bad for both of us, but it was the only way we could survive.

I quickly showered and changed into a red sports bra, red and black stripped boy shorts, Tony’s basketball shorts, and Shaun’s black t-shirt. I wanted to be comfortable and needed the clothes for when I changed into my wolf.

I went downstairs to grab some breakfast when I heard shouting coming from the kitchen. When I arrived I saw Ryan arguing with Terri and couldn’t believe my eyes.

“What the hell is going on down here?” I yelled at them both

“Remember when I told you he left me for four years and I didn’t know what he was doing? Well I found out the hard way.” Terri screamed with tears pouring down her face.

I watched Terri give one last dirty look to her mate and stormed out of the kitchen handing me Tommy on her way out. I was never good with children so I was holding him from me looking at him like one would look at a tiger in its cadge.

“TONY GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE NOW!” I screamed not caring if I woke the entire house up.

Two minutes later I heard running and saw Tony in such a rush he came down with only his boxer shorts, his hair ruffled, his were eyes wild because he thought something was wrong and grabbed me so quickly I nearly dropped Tommy.

It wasn’t till I looked down and saw he had on his sponge bob square shorts with “Welcome to Krabby Patty’s” on them. I quickly looked behind him and saw Shaun right behind him.

“Shaun take Tommy out of here right now” I told him before he could speak.

He quickly ran over to me and grabbed the boy out of my hands and left the kitchen. Not that he wasn’t in my hands I could concentrate on the main problem at hand instead of wondering if I was going to kill the creature named Tommy.

“What the hell did Terri mean by that comment Ryan and don’t lie to me.” I said

I looked at Tony and saw his face go from white to red in five seconds fast. I grabbed his arm since he was now standing next to me.

“It’s not what it looks like I swear.” Ryan said with tears in his eyes

“I didn’t even know she was here. If I had I would have never let Terri find out the way she did.” Ryan cried out.

After speaking he just kind of slumped against the counter and fell to his ass and laid his head on his legs crying his heart out. I looked at Tony and I could tell he was fighting for control with Jared his wolf. But then I didn’t have to worry about it anymore because Jared took over. I knew Jared was the one who was calm and in control most of the time unless it came to me or his sister’s family.

“What did you do Ryan?” Jared, Tony’s wolf asked

We waited for what seemed like hours when Ryan finally looked up at me. Before he could say anything though, a female came in the kitchen with a semi guilty face.
