Arisu "Alice" Takahaski (アリス・タカハスキー Takahasukī Arisu) is a fictional character in the anime and manga series Digimon Adventure, Digimon Adventure 02, and Digimon Adventure Tri. She is the older sister of Luna and Cassie Takahaski.
Appearance In Digimon Adventure, Arisu has her black hair tied in a knitted ponytail. She has blue eyes and peach skin color. She wears a blue and white striped blouse over a knitted (?) cardigan, tan shorts, and brown sandals.
In Digimon Adventure 02, Arisu has neck-length black hair with red tips. She wears a red button overalls dress with a white long sleeved blouse underneath, and white ballet slippers.
Description Arisu is a loving and caring person who treats her friends, and even strangers, with kindness. Arisu plays a motherly role within her friend group and her sister's friend group, and is often seen helping them whenever they can when it comes to Digimon activity. She has rarely been shown to be in a bad mood, and can tolerate all of her sibling's friends' eccentricities. However, there have been a couple events that have disturbed Arisu, including the time when her younger siblings had to go back to the Digital World to fight the Dark Masters.
In keeping with her motherly role, Arisu is very determined to protect her friends and sisters, even if it means lying. She is sensitive to being called stupid, as shown when she cried due to Luna calling her a dummy. She still appears to occasionally speak in a boyish manner, especially when excited, using the masculine Japanese pronoun ore to refer to herself in the original text. Arisu has a weird habit of snooping around her sister's love life and even their friends.
Etymologies • Takahaski- has several forms in kanji, the most common being高橋, meaning "high bridge"
