Animated Story: Jaiden Animations x Male Reader (animator)

Helping hand- Chapter 4

A/n: sup guys, been a minute, hopefully you all are safe. This book won't really talk about a whole lot of serious topics, but it might occasionally, just as a heads up. That's it.

After last nights fun activities, I had some stuff I had to finish for YouTube and my job. I decided to cut down hours at my job a bit, just because it seems as if I'm always busy. Anyways I still had a lot of stuff to do today. So I decided to just kinda leave my phone on silent but still in my room. One nice thing about being a graphic designer, is that I never really need to have to go into an office. I work from home most the time just designing stuff. Regardless I still need my phone next to me just Incase it's the boss or something like that. After about 30-45 minutes of working, I got a call. From Jaiden.

Jaiden: hey y/n? You wanna do a video today?
Y/n: can't at the moment I have to finish this, maybe later thou.
Jaiden: what is it?
Y/n: I have to come up with a couple different options for a design.
Jaiden: oh dang, you need help?
Y/n: uh I mean I would enjoy help, but you do not by any means have to.
Jaiden: oh I know, ohhh I'll bring coffee too!
Y/n: not much of a coffee drinker but any caffeine would be great!
Jaiden: so it's settled, I'll grab some coffee, and stop on by when I'm done to help.
Y/n: I mean, if you insist.
Jaiden: I do insist, see ya in a bit.

She's such a weirdo. Whatever I appreciate any help I can get. I keep on working for a bit, then eventually Jaiden came to my door and rang it.

Jaiden: delivery for mr. y/l.n (a/n: last name).
Y/n: uh that's me I guess.
Jaiden: why have a good day sir.
Y/n: get in here!
Jaiden: alright alright so what's are we deciding.
Y/n: basically just designing cool pictures that includes the brands stuff and their webpage. Pretty easy stuff to be honest, but a lot of work.
Jaiden: hm interesting, why don't we both do some sketches for the pictures and than we can bounce off ideas for the website.
Y/n: yea that's actually a good idea.
Jaiden: don't sound too shocked there.

We just kinda sit in my living room have occasional conversation but it was actually rather quite. Not like, an uncomfortable quite thou, it was nice that she thought of helping me on her day off. I mean I guess she doesn't have a "job" per say, but still animation takes a lot of diligent work, which I'm aware of. So I know she doesn't get just loads of free time. We wrap up eventually and I submit my work to the big man himself.

Y/n: well that was a success.
Jaiden: it really was.
Y/n: look I want to thank you again, I know you don't have like loads of free time, so I appreciate you wanting to work for free.
Jaiden: no problem, I actually kinda had fun. So now do you want to do anything?
Y/n: I guess it's the least I could do in return, what's on your mind?
Jaiden: lets play Mario!
Y/n: um ok sure, I think I have that.
Jaiden: awesome!

I did indeed have it, which seemed to put a smile on jaidens face. We than spent the rest of the night playing Mario, I also ordered a pizza to thank Jaiden once again for helping. Easy to say in comparison to Friday the 13th movie watching, this one was more fun. Anyways eventually it got late out and Jaiden was getting tired.

Jaiden: oh dang, what time is it?
Y/n: uh let's see... 1 p.m.
Jaiden: oh snap! (I don't think she swears but like... shoot is just cringe)
Y/n: I guess time really does fly.
Jaiden: yea I guess it does, well I have to go home.
Y/n: unless you want to stay here.
Jaiden: uh... what?
Y/n: I have a spare room Jaiden.
Jaiden: oh you do?
Y/n: yes I do, why don't you stay the night. That way you don't die by driving at night and I can make waffles in the morning.
Jaiden: that does sound tempting.
Y/n: just say yes, ok. You can worry about Ari tomorrow I'm sure she's fine.
Jaiden: ye you're right, ok, yea I'm in!
Y/n: bet, uh I'll grab you some stuff to get comfortable in.
Jaiden: I'm fine really.
Y/n: well your gonna be extra fine. Here, it's my smallest sweatshirt.
Jaiden: awh, thanks!
Y/n: no problem, sleep well.

A/n: such a wholesome little chapter lol, anyways hope you aren't dead, something in this book that's rather important will happen when the main character wakes up.... stay safe, buckle up, and uh go on a hike?
