The day was calm. People were quietly walking around the streets minding their own businesses. The sun was shining and the sky was clear. This all made for a perfect summer day.
Josia was taking a walk outside. After all, how could anyone stay inside on such a perfect day? His neighbours waved and he waved back. "Beautiful day, isn't it?" they yelled.
Suddenly a sudden breeze of wind hit Josia. The strong wind cooled Josia down quite well, as he was covered in sweat from all the heat. He looked to the direction of the wind and saw a forest. The leaves made a lot of noise, but something else got his attention. "Something... There's something", he said. He felt the presence of something coming from the forest. "Why do I feel like it's pulling me in?" he asked himself. He thought to himself that there must be something important that he has forgotten. As he had nothing else to do, he decided to wander off into the forest.
Josia heard birds singing. They were singing beautifully and cheerfully. Nature wasn't normally anything special to him, but somehow now it brought him joy.
He saw a path. "This path, have I been here before?" he thought to himself. Something about that forest was nostalgic to him, and he didn't like the feeling. He said: "This is giving me a bad vibe, but I need to know what's in there".
He walked and walked. The further he went, the more uncertain he got. He got to a point where he felt so much Déja vu that it hurt. The path was divided into two, of which a smaller one went more to the right. That path seemed to lead into an opening with a fallen tree. "That tree, I've seen it before but when?" he wondered.
He chose to walk there. But it didn't take long until he noticed something. Next to the fallen tree there was a pile of sticks. The sticks were piled up together to form a small tent. Something in this disturbed Josia. "What is it, what is going on with me?" he raged. He furiously sat down to the fallen tree and looked down. He had never been as confused in his life as he was then.
He lifted up his gaze to see something. It was on a branch. "What the hell is that" he questioned. He jogged to the location of the thing to see that it was a piece of paper. "Why is there a piece of paper here all of the sudden?" he asked, even though there was no one else. The paper had something written on it. "Dásos", he read out loud.
Something was clearly wrong. Josia felt a huge weight on him in his pocket. He couldn't tell what was happening and was way too confused and frightened to think. He couldn't remember what was in his pocket because he rarely uses them. But after a little bit of time, he remembered he had kept a pair of glasses in his pocket. He didn't know why he had those glasses but he kept them and took them with him all the time because they seemed cool.
"A forest... a path... a fallen tree and a stick tent... Dásos... glasses..." he thought. He was getting images in his head of something. He was thinking of a police officer who wore glasses and then of another man who wore glasses. He then remembered taking off the glasses of the man, but he couldn't yet remember why. After a painful struggle, he understood it. "D-don't tell m-me... i-it's... ba-back," he stuttered. He suddenly heard whispers coming from the glasses. "Do you remember me now?" the voices whispered.
Josia remembered everything now. It all happened 10 years before. "How could I forget, I'm so sorry Justus," he whispered. Justus was the police officer who sacrificed his life to save him from Dásos along with his police partner Veeti, who also lost his life to Dásos.
Josia was now 10 years older than the last time he met Dásos. He wasn't as scared or unreliable. But he was shocked to find out that Dásos is still in fact somehow existing in the world. "Bu-but we defeated it, he exploded so h-how is he here," he wondered. He was too frightened on the moment to think, so he just ran away.
All of this was only the beginning of Josia's new terrifying journey. A journey he would have never expected...
