Hey guys, it's meee!!! ALphaSilvermist05! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Okay I have to things to share with you guys before you go on: So, other than the fact that this is taking place in a different setting than where I last left off two chapters ago, this story is special because it is fueled by one one of my fans BlueInvader. BlueInvader, I adore you in that you agree with me that it wasn't fair that Vortexx had to be dissolved, and your sense in Keyshipping is great! :D This chapter is dedicated to you, and i tried to write it as fast and make it as good as i could, because after you messaged me,l didn't want to keep you waiting. Second: I'm not sure if you guys noticed, but I did. I made a mistake in the last chapter's description. You know how I said I left off where I left off when they were escorting Yuma off and A.J, Mezendel, and Alice were left to deal with Kaito? Well...turns out that part didn't really exist. That was actually the part that I started working on but got stuck with and deleted. But it got stuck in my head and made me think I actually posted that. So sorry, guys! I will make something for that to make up for it but for now, enjoy! Comment and review please!
Chapter 5:
"Okay...what the HELL do we do now?!" Deenie exclaimed frustrated.
No one answered her.
After the flash, they came downstairs to see what had happened. They got quite the surprise, for Astral, by some strange force from the Key, had gotten solidified. The poor thing was scared out of his mind, trembling and clinging to Yuma, who was trying to calm him down. When they saw him, the two wolves freaked out. Deenie just let out an ear piercing shriek, and Connor just swore a lot. This did not help the situation at all, and only led to Astral screeching out in fear, tears streaming down his eyes. Yuma had held him tighter, stroking the helpless alien's back reassuringly. It was only now that he had managed to calm down, but he was still frightful of what had just happened.
Connor was sitting in the sofa, and Yuma and Astral sat on the seat across for him. Connor was covering his face with his hands. He uncovered his eyes just enough to peek out at the two boys in front of him. He groaned with frustration, his face weary and tired.
"I hate this day,"he grumbled. He looked up. "Have I mentioned how much I hate this day? I hate this day."
Yuma scowled at Connor. "Well excuse me, but we're not really enjoying this either, y'know." he pointed out scornfully. His harsh expression softened as he turned to look at Astral, who was cuddled in his arms, eyes darting around nervously. He brushed the ethereal being's surprisingly soft blue hair gently.
"Especially us." he murmured.
Deenie's heart melted a bit when she saw how much the boy cared for his companion. She had never seen such a thing. In all honesty, if that had been her, she would have left the being there and run for the hills. It amazed her how a boy so young could understand something as huge as this. For a fleeting moment she wondered if they were lovers, and if Yuma's strong fondness for the creature had made him solid.
Which reminded her, they had to find a way to keep the alien safe and hopefully help him blend in with the normal society. She took a few deep breaths before speaking to ensure she wouldn't snap again. Once, she was ready to face them, she turned around and got down to business.
"Okay," she started, "do you have any idea of what might've caused him to solidify?"
Yuma perked up, eyes glimmering with anxiety. He clutched his Emperor's Key tightly in his hand. "Actually," he said, "I do. My necklace has some sort of power within it, a reallly powerful one.I think must have activated it and caused Astral to solidify."
