The next day Gary was looking forward to the surprise baby shower that he had organised for Miranda,but he had to keep her away from the flat all day and it was 10.30 am already.Miranda was still asleep and Gary really didn't want to wake her,he went and made breakfast hoping she would be awake by the time he came back,but she was still fast asleep.

"Miranda"Gary whispered,no response....,suddenly there was a knock at the door,it was Stevie,Penny and Tilly,they had all come to help organise the baby shower."ssssshhhhh"Gary whispered as he quietly opened the door,"why"they all asked."Miranda is still asleep,can you come back in a few hours ?,tell Chris and Alison that the baby shower will start at 4 o'clock not 2"Gary said,"okay"they replied,going quietly back down the stairs.

Gary walked back into the bedroom,he thought Miranda probably needed the rest so he had a shower and got dressed.Gary had planned to take Miranda out for lunch and then to go swimming for a few hours.

Around 11.20 am Miranda woke up,Gary smiled at her,"Morning"Miranda said,"Afternoon,it's nearly lunch time"Gary laughed,"hey that's Stevie's line"Miranda giggled.Ii have made plans for us today"Gary said."ooohhhh naughty"Miranda laughed,"I'm taking you out to lunch and then we'll go swiming"Gary smiled.

"ooohh,okay I'll get ready"Miranda said,Half an hour later they were in the car,ready to go,after a short drive they came across a cute cafe and had some lunch.

After lunch Miranda and Gary went to the swimming pool,five minutes later they had both changed into their swimming things,Miranda was wearing some shorts and a bikkini top,that showed off her perfectly formed bump and Gary was wearing some black shorts.

Miranda looked at him for a second as she thought how sexy he was."you ready ?" Gary asked,Miranda nodded.

He took her hand and they walked down the steps into one of the pools,They began swimming laps of the lane."you look lovely by the way"Gary said,"awww thank you"Miranda smiled.

About half an hour later they went in the spa pool for a while,"we still need to put the cots up in the Twins room"Miranda said,"Okay,I'll do it later"Gary replied.

It was half past three and Gary and Miranda were walking back to the changing rooms."I'll meet you outside when you're done"Gary said,"okay"She replied.

Gary smiled to himself when he thought of how surprised Miranda was going to be when they got back home......
