Cakes, pies, and cookies pile up on our table as we stand outside the super market with Amy's coworkers. They helped bake most of these desserts. Haley even helped. She baked her "famous cupcakes". At least, that's what she called them anyway. As they all put there desserts down they all started to leave.

"Thank you guys so much! These look amazing!" Amy said to them.

"Anytime Amy" one of her coworkers George said.

As they all left we put the prices on. The cookies are $20, cakes are $30, pies are $25, and Haley's "famous cupcakes" are $15. But thats if you buy the whole thing. We had little plates where if you bought one or a piece, it would be $3.00 each.

Haley decided she wanted to stay and help. She says because she is a "professional" at this kind of thing.

"I was a girl scout." She told me. "I had to sell cookies all the time and no one could ever say no."

"What did you do? Give them the puppy eyes and tell them you really needed a lot of money so you could win that is pretty little pink bike you have always wanted?" I joked.

She glared at me. "No. I'm good at bribing." I looked at her to let her know that that didn't sound right at all. She looked at me in confusion but finally got what I meant. "Oh! No! I didn't mean it like that! I meant-"

"Ha I know what you meant. You just made it sound... Weird."

"No. You made it sound weird yourself" she laughed. "You thought the wrong way."

"You thought the same way because you found out I was thinking the wrong way just by looking at my face. Therefore, you were too." I said in a fast pace.

She looked at me in confusion. "I hate you."

I laughed and kissed her gently on the nose. "Come on. Let's go make your famous cupcakes."

As we put the sign up, people were looking at the desserts we had. Mostly, they would just scan the table them leave. But their would be people that would come up and ask what was the cause. Amy would tell them and then some would say "Oh that's really great of you guys but I just used my money on groceries." And then some would buy some either the singles or the whole ones. There were other times when a little kid would come around the corner, see the desserts and beg and whine for some. Some parents could take, but some couldn't so they bought some. I loved those kids! I felt bad for the parents, but loved those kids.

Noon came and Amy decided that we could go eat something. I was hungry.

"Me and Mason can go get something and bring it back. Or whatever  you want to do." Haley said.

"Oh. I will go get something. You guys can stay here and watch the table if that's okay."

     "No that's fine." I say.

"Okay well, what do you guys feel like. I can just go get some burgers."

"That sounds good." Haley smiles. Amy smiles back and grabs her keys.

"Watch him for me will you?" She jokes.

"Oh I will" Haley laughs. I roll my eyes.

"Yeah, yeah. Go get the burgers." I say. They both laugh as Amy walks off.

"Hey. We were just joking." She laughed.
