I was never something or anything that mattered to anyone but my friends and family. “ Darie!” My friend Lisha Squeald “A big time tv producer is coming to choose teens for her new show. My dark almond shaped eyes lit up. "But we are 12 not yet, they are looking for older teens," I replied. "Do we have a chance?" Lisha said, “Well she was looking for a spuncky noticeable girl so...” She trailed off. I stared at my phone where I was reading all about it in the notification, “she wants an unusual girl with a different noticeable apperance, ooph” I stopped and sucked in my breath .This was why Lisha has stopped. I loved lisha but she was not particularly noticeable. She had blackish brown shoulder length straight thick hair and tanned freckled skin, typical for our city. She stared at me , I had Auburn ringlet bushy thick curls and pale skin with zero freckles and dark brown almond shaped eyes. Noticeable.
We stood next to a table in a long snakey line to meet the producer. “Lisha Denstock” the lady said, I squeezed my friends hand, and a moment later she was back, crying. “Darla Cardack” the lady yelled. Me. I walked in to a tent with the lady leading me up to another lady sitting behind a desk on a large chair. As soon as she saw me her eyes lit up and she wisperd something to the first one who had led me in. "So,” said the sitting Lady “my name is Tracy Hindop.” “ I Know “ I gasped. “ What is your Name?” Tracy . “Darla Cardack” I Replied. “Darla, meet me tomorrow at starbucks ok?” Tracy Said. “Ok, why?” I asked “ Because you look like just what I was looking for and I want to see if u can act and btw bring your mom.”
