After he found out Raine was taken, Jack was worse then before. He never slept, the voices wouldn't let him. Raine was never going to be with him, his mothers pains in general became worse, his grades were slowly dropping. The insomnia made him paranoid and angry at everything. His friends became angry at him easier because of this. The voices were even louder, screaming at him that he was worthless, fat, ugly, stupid, to just kill himself. But he tried his best to smile through it. Even though, at times, he thought he should listen to them.
