"(Laughing) Is this how it's going to be now, I have nothing and no one. Everything's out of order, they've gotten their way. But there's one thing that keeps me going, and that's the hope that my Abby is somewhere out there".

A year earlier
"Abby, Abby " Mark Johnson said entering the house. Abby ran and jumped on her daddy's body, "Daddy I've missed you so much" she said with a soft but crazy voice. "What did I tell you six months ago?" Mark asked her and she said "That you'll do anything to make it for my birthday" she answered him smiling. "And I made it two days away. Where's your mom pumpkin?" he asked her putting her down, "She went to get something at the neighbors, she'll be back in a bit"

He carried her in the air and spinner her round as her mother approached he hide behind the coach. "Abby what you doing there, I taught I heard you talking to somebody?" Jolie said, "Yes I was talking to someone, he's right behind you" Abby said and Jolie turned behind getting swiped of her feet into Marks arms as he kissed her. "Mark, you're home" Jolie said hugging him. Then she pushed him "I taught you where going to be a month what happened?" Jolie said angrily, "Something went wrong but everything's fine now" Mark said grubbing her by the waist and getting all sweet on her.

"I'm still standing here" Abby said and they laughed. Mark carries her on his shoulders "So hows someone planning her sixth birthday?". He took her to her room and she told him all that had been up the past six months. "Daddy can you sing for me?" Abby asked and Mark cleared his voice "Don't be scared cause you always have us to wipe your tears away...". Abby fell asleep a while after and he covered her with her comforter.

Mark went to his room with his wife and they where being romantic when something fell down in the garage. Mark went down to check up on it with his gun in his shoes. He saw a screw then he saw a shadow, he removed his gun and approached. "Honey" Jolie said as he turned pointing the gun at her, "Wow, wow it's me honey" Jolie said. Looking back the shadow had gun "Was there anything there?" he looked around again "It was surely quarrels" he said putting his gun down and they went back to the house.

He went and checked up on Abby, "Honey are you sure everything is ok?" Jolie asked again. "How well is your fighting skills sweety?" Mark asked Jolie, starring at him she said "I can take down four cops with guns at once" Jolie said. Mark didn't say a word, he just went to his room and sat up the whole night worried.
