Max was what you would call 'a good boy', he would wake up at 8 am every day to help his mother with the chores. At about 1 in the afternoon, they would eat and clean the dishes together. Then, Max and his mother would usually watch a movie or a show they found on the TV. Together. After that, they'd go outside, when the warm weather shows up, to ride a bike, skate or play some sports. Yes, together. He didn't go to school. His mother didn't think it was necessary, so she asked her sister Margaret to teach him. This impeded him making contact with people.
In Max's 15th birthday he got a cellphone. It was, of course, an old one. It could only play music, since it didn't have a working SIM card, but Max doesn't know this.
- Why should I want this, mom? The only people I know are you, Margaret and the cleaner man. I don't even know his name! This says a lot about our society.
- Isn't it a quote? The last phrase you said? Where did you learn that from?
- Mom that's not the point!- shouts Max, with evident anger in his voice- The point is I can't go outside and meet people, like normal people, like dad!
And was at that moment he knew, he shouldn't have said that, every time he mentions dad his mom goes crazy.
- Your dad, son, do you want me to talk about him? DO YOU WANT ME TO TALK ABOUT THE THINGS HE DID!?
- No, mom, I...
- Of course you don't, now go to your room- Max stood still, shaking in his shoes - I said NOW!

Max is angry, you could see his face, red and frowning, as if it were a rotten tomato. He opens his window and a gust of cold air slips in.
- God damn is cold outside- he whispers, he doesn't want his mother to hear him, specially if he swore.
He steps on the snow and feels its coldness. White, shiny... IMPOSING, capable to kill any living thing if it doesn't take precautions. He isn't really thinking, he is just being guided by his emotions... and something else.
He was heading to the woods when he saw a white lady, with white skin, white hair and a large white dress that went from the top of her neck, to the bottom of her feet, reaching the hands of the young lady on its way. Her eyes, coffee brown, stood out of her, reflecting the snow on her feet. "What could she be doing here?" Asks to himself, "she must be very cold out here" but he doesn't interfere, he doesn't even try to catch the young lady's attention, he just stands behind a lamppost hoping the lady didn't see him and willing to follow her.
The lady was also heading to the woods, "oh what a coincidence" realizes, but doesn't think too much about it and continues following her.
The lady got in the woods and Max starts to feel anxious, should he go in? Should he wait for the lady to come out of the and then head to her? But what if she didn't come out? What if she finds a bear? What if she dies of hypothermia? What if, what if?...
After thinking a while about it he decides it, he will go in, he will find the lady and he will ask for her name. He rushed, he didn't want the steps to be lost, so he went directly too the woods. In there, Max starts looking for the lady's trail, and he finds it: it was a large line, as if she has walked straight, knowing EXACTLY where to go. "Did she have a compass or some sort of map?" "No, her hands were naked and she didn't have pockets".
He continues following the trial, "how long will this take?" Starting to get bored, but he thinks again about the lady, renewing his forces.
After continuing minutes of walking, he realizes the trial ends, "where could she be?" He looks to the left: nothing, he looks to the right: the nothingness was notable, he even thinks about the horror movies "cliché" and looks up, waiting too see the lady pounce on him. Nothing. Then he realizes.
- What am I doing in the woods following a dumb woman who doesn't even know what she wants. I should be going back to home. I should never have left it!- and he lays down on the floor, crying, waiting for his own dead.
- Why are you crying kid? - a voice asks, it was calm and honeyed- are you scared?
Max looks up, left and right. Nothing.
-Who, who's asking?
-No one in specific, just a random woman, like white snow, shiny like it, cold like it, IMPOSING LIKE IT, capable to kill anything if I want to, but you are nice, Max.
Max is shocked, who was that lady? How does she know his name? WAS HE EVEN GOOD?
-I swear, Max, I'm good, I won't hurt you, just look down.
Max turns his face down, and sees two smiley eyes, and a peaceful mouth. He can't move, he is to scared for doing anything. The lady grabs him and pulls him down.
