And for as long as I stayed

I felt suffocated,

I had my breath,

But my heart was still skipping beats.

And for as long as I held

I felt drowned,

I could swim,

But I was unable to reach the shore.

And for as long as I kept,

I felt caged,

I had my freedoms,

But I was still a slave....🃏🎭
