Third year na ako bukas. Meaning, hello major subjects na. And hello white uniform.

Will I look good in that? I imagined.

To proceed in third year in our school is a privilege. Sabi ng mga professors ko since my first semester in this course, our school has the highest percentage and topnotchers passers in the field of Medical Technology Board Exam. Kaya naman may pa-exam pa na kailangan itake before you can secure a slot in third year.

Luckily, I passed that exam. Some of my batch, didn't.

Sabi nila mahirap yung exam kase may halong pang third year subjects na, for me sakto lang yung hirap at dali when I took the test. Obvious naman na  may hinalong pang third year terms, pero connected padin yun sa mga terms na naaral namin sa Chemistry at ibang subjects noong first and second year kami.

I can't wait to finish my pre-med course and enter medicine school!

I remembered my dream when I was in 4th grade, I wanted to be an astronaut. That time I wanted to be a scientist kase mas close yung work non sa mga astronaut. And when my mom asked me what kind of scientist I wanna be I got confuse and finally abandoned that dream because I hate complicating what I want. When I finally got into second year high school, doon ko na na-settle na gusto kong maging doctor. Why? Because doctors looked good in white coat. Their work is respectable and in their line of profession the people involved are continuously learning even after they become licensed.

That's why in my second year high school I studied the smart way, climbing my spot to the top 30 student of our batch. I did that hangang fourth year. Kaya naman I graduated high school with good grades. Wala man ako with honors, I got enough credit that got me into this prestige university.

For the first semester of my freshmen year was so-so. Hindi naman talaga ako party girl. Noong high school nga tamang inom at road trip lang. I never even got into bar noon.

That changes when second semester began. I got invited by Karen in her 17th birthday party. It was held in a bar in Morato sa QC.

Since she was my schoolmate and practically my friend in high school, I got obliged to attend. That is where I also met Anne.

Anne and I practically clicked the first time we spoke. Lahat ng kaartehan at ugali naman nagkasundo. We were like sisters that found each other after a long separation. After that party si Anne naman ang nag invite saakin sa isang house party  ng friend niya na taga ibang university. Coincidentally, Karen was there as a plus-one of the friend of the host.

We became best of friends.

We don't regret with what we have become.
