You were a servant for three god like beings that you knew little about. Their lives were kept a secret from you and you were only there to serve them. It all started the day you went to travel with a group of friends that needed help back in town. On the journey you all got lost somehow not paying attention to the map carefully. The three of you split up to search for civilization but you happened to stumble upon a temple in ruins. Perhaps, you assumed it was safe or abandoned but you were highly mistaken. The place was occupied in full by several other servants and three others who took domain there. Your intrusion caused a stir from the others that served there and now you were captive to become like the others.
It wasn't too bad living here, but you knew that your friends presumed you were dead so they never came looking for you ever again. Making everyday the best you followed orders as instructed such as keeping the place spotless while you served a certain master at his every whim. When he called for you there was always something to do. His needs surpassed yours at times that you never dared asked for anything more than he could give. It was Kars who needed you the most than the other three. The day he laid eyes on you was the day you felt uncertain fear.
Intimidated by his muscular frame and impressive height you tried your best not to stare too often. At times he caught you staring at his perfect chiseled body. He kept a stoic air at times whenever he saw you staring at him. Other times he would flash a smirk and scoff at you for doing so. You had to stop yourself to return to your duties.
On this particular night you sat in the temple garden tending to the plants that grew during the spring. Your hair was tied back away from your eyes and you wore a dress fit for the work you did. In the distance you heard their voices. The one called Wammu was louder than Kars and his other companion. Not one to eavesdrop you did anyway just out of curiosity but it was so hard to make out with what they were saying. Bits and pieces of their conversation were audible. Esidisi laughed at something about a human he met somewhere else and Kars sounded as if he dismissed what he had said. Then Wammu spoke again but you didn't really pay attention.
You heard their heavy footsteps approach the garden as you kept your eyes down in front of you, pulling up unwanted weeds from the fresh soil. The three passed by you, Esidisi gave you a smirk while Wammu remained stoic. Kars simply scoffed at you. You decided you had enough of being treated lowly and you spoke up.
"What?" The three stopped in their tracks as you questioned abruptly.
Kars narrowed his eyes at you as he turned towards you. All you could do was look up under his towering shadow.
"Did I ask for your permission to speak to me?" He arrogantly looked down at you with a look of dissatisfaction.
"No, but I'd like to know why do you treat me with disdain?" Your question came off condescending it actually amused Kars.
"You are inferior to us. Beneath my species." he answered bluntly.
"If, I'm so inferior to you then why have me around? Why have me around to do inferior things? Why don't you do it yourselves?" You stopped yourself from saying anything further that would warrant some type of punishment. The worse you imagined was being sent to the dark room. It's punishment for disobedient servants, it was tortuous to some.
"You humans and your reasoning. I can show you why I keep servants like you around." Kars signaled Wammu to approach you. He grabbed you by your small arm lifting you to be thrown over his shoulder. Your protest fell on deaf ears as Wammu carried you over his shoulder the both of you headed back to the temple. You heard Esidisi laugh in the distance as Wammu walked to the entrance at the temple. That Esidisi especially him, he irked you like no other.
