The Struggle

Koi woke up to the annoying sound of her alarm clock. She had never been a morning person and never believed that she would be. However, today it wasn't as much of a struggle since she got to make new friends.

Once Koi got herself out of bed she put on a pastel blue shirt with a pastel pink skirt. She also wore her white converse and some star earrings to top it off.

She then styled her hair. She didn't do anything to special, she mostly just clipped part of her hair back with a volleyball hair clip. She had gotten the hair clip from a tournament that her team had won 25-16 on the first set and 25-12 on the second.

Once she finished getting ready she walked to school. Koi thought it would probably be a good idea to eat something so on the way to school she stopped at a gas station and bought a granola bar. She ate the granola bar and was now in quite a good mood.

After she got to school she unzipped her backpack, took out her binder, and then walked to class. Koi expected there to be people but it turns out she was the first person there. She tapped her pencil on her desk as she nervously waited for the other students to show up.

Eventually, the rest of the students filled the once empty classroom. All of the noise and movements around her made her feel sick, though she did notice one boy with his head down. She liked the fact that he was quiet.

On the other side of the classroom there was a boy with white hair and tan skin. He was sketching his classmates. Koi noticed him drawing her and it made her a bit uncomfortable.

Eventually the quiet boy got angry about something and started an argument with a blond haired girl. The white haired boy didn't like this and decided to speak up.

"Hi, I'm Tane! Nice to meet you! Let's all try to get along!" Said the white haired boy to the quiet boy and the blond haired girl.

After that a stuffed bunny came into the classroom and said she was their teacher. Koi didn't really mind because she was nice.

Along the way of this crazy day she discovered that the blond haired girl's name was Fae and the quiet boy's name was Archer. There was also a kid named Dion that showed up late to class, along with a nice kid named Fumiko.

When the bell finally rung most of the students left. Koi was upset with herself since she hadn't talked to one person. She wanted to get a good start on making friends this year. But then as the last person was about to leave the room something happened.

"Hey! It's time it go, are you ok?" Fumiko asked smiling.

"O-oh uh yea sorry," Koi said as she began gathering her stuff.

"It's fine you don't have to apologize," she says, "do you do any after school activities?"

"Yea, I do volleyball," Koi said, "do you do any?"

"Nope, but I was thinking about joining art!" Fumiko says.

"I think that would be cool! What do you like to do in art?" Koi questioned.

Fumiko suddenly gets a bit nervous. "Oh umm I like to make sculptures," she says and then smiles.
