Ghost Eyes Bennet X Mattias

Friend pt2

Mattias's POV

I wake up in a place that is unfamiliar to me. What happened? I look around, and see a window. I'm in someone's bedroom.
"You're finnally awake. You suddenly fell down."
I turn my head towards the door. I see a foriegn boy.
"Bennet? How long was I out for?"
"Maybe around twenty minuets."
I get out of the bed and run out the room. Mother must be so worried. Bennet catches up to me before I get out of the house. He grabs my wrist before saying
"Guess you don't really want to be my friend after all. You didn't even thank me."
He says with a cold look on his face, but there's a hint of lonelyness in his eyes.
"I'm truely sorry, Bennet. I'm sorry that I suddenly fell asleep, and that I tried to run away. But my mother must be so worried about me right now."

"I'm assuming that that women is your mother."
He points to my mother in the dinning room talking with his parents. She notices me and runs up to me to hug me.
"Mattias! I was worried about you. Please don't run off like that again."
"It's okay, mama. But how did you know that I was here?"
"I figgerd that you came here out of curriousity, and then fell asleep."
My mom lets go of me.
Ben walks up behind me.
"Excuse me, ma'am. May I talk to you're son?"
Mother nods.

Bennet takes me back up to his room. We sit on his bed in his room, wich has not been decorated yet.
"So what's the deal with you passing out like that?"
He looks at me. I can't tell what he's feeling.
"I have narcolepsy. I'm truely, truely sorry for that."
He sighs.
"Well, it's not like you can controll that. Do you still want to be my friend?"
I nod quickly.
His expression changes. He's smirking.
"Would you die for me, Mattias?"
His face is clam. I hessitate to answer. He realises that. Do friends usually die for eachother?
"So you don't want to be my friend after all."
"That's not true!"
My voice is shaky.
He tilts head head.
"Eat this. It's a poisonous bug. Eat this, and you'll be my friend."
I know it's not dangerous. What would he do if it was dangerous, and I decide to eat it? It's a bavery test. I take the bug out of his fingers. I put it my mouth, and pretend to eat it. It may not be dangerous, but I still don't wan't to kill it. Besides it might have bacteria.
"Wow. You must be desperate, or a complete idiot."
I pretend to cough so that I can get the bug out of my mouth.
"I may be both. But that wouldn't matter. Am I your friend now, Bennet?"
He nods and lets out a sigh.
"What an idiot."
I smile as hug him. I made my first friend.

"Matti! It's time to go home!"
My mother yells out from downstairs.
"I have to go now, Bennet."
"Okay. But just Ben is fine."
"Okay then. Bye Ben."
I walk back home, smiling.
"I'm sorry, mother. For running off."
"It's okay, mattias. Atleast you made a friend. His name is Bennet, right?"
"Yes, mother. Ben is my friend."
