I'm changing the kids' names because their middle names are less than preferable in my eyes. You can completely ignore the new names I'm giving them, but here's what I think their names should be!
James Sirius Potter
James Harrison Potter
Okay, so it's very common for Wizarding families to name their first born sons after their fathers. Some examples include, Draco Lucius, Sirius Orion, William Arthur, and even Harry James. I feel like that tradition wouldn't mean as much to Harry, but I feel like Ginny would want to keep that going since it seems to be something in her own family, too. James Harry sounds kinda sus, but I just played with different variants of Harry until I found one that sounded good, so James Harrison it is.
Albus Severus Potter
Albus Sirius Potter
Now, this is where Sirius would come in. Harry would definitely name a child of his after Sirius, but I like it better broken up that just straight up James Sirius. Think about poor Minerva here... I thought about changing Albus's first name to Rubeus just because I absolutely hate Albus Dumbledore, but I think that would become confusing, so I'm keeping Albus lol.
Lily Luna Potter
Lily Jean Potter
Hermione is very important to both Harry and Ginny. I was questioning whether or not I should just keep it Luna because Luna was a friend of Ginny's in school, but then I remembered how much of an impact Hermione really had (in the books specifically) of getting Harry and Ginny together whether she realized it or not. I like to think that Harry would have wanted to name their daughter Lily Molly or Lily Ginerva, but Ginny would have asked Harry about naming her after Hermione. Lily Hermione sounds a bit too unrealistic sounding, so they would have settled on Lily Jean eventually and Harry was probably deep down thrilled to be naming his daughter after one of his best friends.
