Jeanne d' Arc
She was only nineteen
When she departed this life
In a most inauspicious manner
All because of a stupid dispute
Over the French throne
Why did Charles pay attention
To an illiterate farm girl
From a little-known area of France
How did she rise to fame
At the siege of Orleans
Did she know strategy
Or was she an angel from God
The truth is that she was despised
Because of her religion
And the ridiculous crime
Of cross-dressing
But the real fault was with politics
And the evil of men in power
Despite being burned at the stake
She remains a symbol of strength
For all women in this world
My feeble attempt!
