"Hey mr stark sent me to come get you were all going out apparently" peter spoke leaning on the door frame to mercy's bedroom she stood up "great" she mumbled peter laughed slightly "here be helpful and tie my shoes laces" she asked as she quickly brushed her hair he leant down resting her foot on his knee tying the lace before doing the other "thanks" she mumbled jumping up following him down stairs

"Where we going" she asked Tony looked up "we're walking down to the beach you've been in your room all day" Tony said walking towards the door "I'm bringing Eli" she shouted running towards the stables before he could argue she held the reins as he walked beside her Tony stroked his neck lightly "let's go" he said as the walked the short journey to the beach beside the house mercy walked Eli over to the water he was reluctant to go in so she went in up to her knees "it's nice I promise" she said softly he stepped out towards her "good boy" she encouraged wrapping her arms around his neck cuddling him Tony and peter sat watching mercy

Peter thought she was enchanting even now dressed in shorts and a T-shirt her hair messily thrown up she was still the most captivating thing he had ever seen she ran over to them "come on Parker your coming in with me" she said he stood up pulling of his shirt and shoes "here dad watch Eli" she said handing him the reins scrunching her eyebrows once she realised what she had called him Tony smiled widely "sure" he mumbled trying to draw to much attention to it she ran towards the sea with peter

She walked in up to her knees again "it's kinda cold" she mumbled turning back round "nope we're going in" he said grabbing her "I'm in" she exclaimed looking at her legs that were mostly submerged peter laughed and threw her over his shoulder walking further out "peter Parker you put me down immediately" she said he laughed and placed her down the water was now at her shoulders she gasped at the sudden coldness peter being a lot taller it only came up to his chest she shivered uncontrollably

"Your mean" she mumbled he couldn't help but laugh she folded her arms moving her leg swiftly tripping his he fell backwards into the water he jumped up completely soaked this time it was mercy's turn to laugh uncontrollably she laughed so hard she almost doubled over her self Tony laughed from the shore watching the events unfold noting how she was softer around peter if anyone had picked her up and thrown her over there shoulders she probably would have broken there neck and she certainly wouldn't let anyone laugh at her but peter got away with it all

"And I'm the mean one" peter exclaimed shaking water out of his hair like a puppy mercy smirked at him "well we're soaked now might aswell go out further" peter suggested she nodded following after him she got out to the point neither of them could stand she felt something brush against her leg and found her self screaming leaping forward wrapping her arms and legs around peter "something brushed against my legs" she exclaimed he laughed as she held on to him her head rested on his shoulder he wrapped his arms around her and began walking back to a point he could stand she pulled back but didn't unwrap her legs "there could be a jellyfish or something trying to sting us" she mumbled "I promise you nothing is trying to get us it was probably just seaweed" he said a laugh escaping his lips "yeah well I'm not taking my chances" she mumbled wrapping her arms around his neck again cuddling into him he walked them both to shore "you getting down now" he asked she jumped off "thanks" she mumbled smiling widely at him walking over to Tony "did I just watch you scream and watch you practically cuddle peter" Tony asked he daughter "I almost died" she exclaimed "it was probably just seaweed" peter argued she rolled her eyes "come here" she mumbled he walked over to him and she placed her hands on his bare chest and chanted his hair and shorts quickly dried "awesome" he mumbled watching as she also dried her self before sitting down next to her father "I'm hungry" she complained "your always hungry" tony joked but stood up nonetheless they all walked back to the house mercy quickly put Eli away and caught up to Tony and peter walking into the kitchen together Tony cooked them both food which they both ate before running upstairs to her room "pick your favourite film" mercy told peter chucking him the remote he scrolled through clicking on Marley and me before twisting to sit comfortably on the bed repositioning the pillows and laying down slightly mercy laid beside him before pulling the covers over them both they reached the end of the film and peter was crying lightly he turned to face mercy who's expression was as it always was "how are you not crying" he asked she shrugged "it sad I guess but I'm not gonna cry about it" she told him "this is Tony's favourite film" she told peter pointing to rocky "what about you, what's your favourite film" he asked curiously she paused for a second "I don't know" she responded "let's watch a horror" peter suggested she nodded clicking on insidious before laying back down turning and resting her head on his shoulder

It got to half ten and Tony walked upstairs to check on his kids they were both fast asleep the telly still playing a movie Mercy was laid into peter her head in his shoulder and his head as rested on top of hers his arm thrown over her he quietly shut the door and heading downstairs pulling out his phone

"Hi may it's Tony" he said "oh hi Tony everything okay" she asked "yeah peters fallen asleep her so he can just stay tonight if that's okay" Tony asked "yeah that fine" she responded knowing peter was safe with the one and only iron man
