A thousand miles away
So out of reach
Like a star in the night sky
I wonder what you are doing at this exact moment...
Have you eaten?
Have you slept well?
How is your mind?
Foggy? Bright? collapsed?
How is your hope?
Burning? Unlit? Starved?
I wish to see you again
But I cannot
For the resources I have are inadequate
But fear not
One day
Surely
We will no longer be apart
