He never knew who told the family's secret...

It was suddenly all over the news, an astonishing fact that would change the town's view of his family forever. People were talking about it for months! But they avoided it after the rest was revealed. It was horrible to think of the fact that he could know the telltale rat. Except, he wasn't allowed outside the house anymore. Who knew what people would say when they saw him.

Three years ago he last saw his school, friends, classmates, and teachers. He never left a reason for his absence, but they all knew. Back when they had a jolly fellow as king, the family was rich and happy. Until the father of three wonderful children was unfortunately murdered in his sleep. The new king is cruel, selfish, and seeks power at any cost. That's why he was a suspect of the murder. But he was let off.

His dad was only eight years old when his grandmother (the queen back then), forced their family to move to the outskirts of the town, starting a new life but with a huge secret. Yes. He has Royal blood in him. Everyone was amazed at that. Until the murder was revealed. No one would want to offend the real Royal family. And what about the current king?

Back at the King's castle...

"THEY WHAT!?" The evil king screeched when he heard the news.

"It appears that someone found out what happened." The servant said with trepidation, in a small voice, just above a whisper.

"WHO TOLD!?" He yelled.

"King Lucifer..."

"NEVER CALL ME LUCIFER! I'M JUST CALLED KING!" The king started, "WHAT IF THERE WAS A SPY IN THE CASTLE AND THEY FOUND OUT THAT THE KING'S OWN SON WAS THE ONE THAT KILLED HIM!?"

"Sire..." The servant started quietly.

"WHO KNOWS WHAT MY BROTHER WOULD DO IF HE KNEW! HE BELIEVES I RAN AWAY WHEN FATHER WAS KILLED! JHONOTHAN ACTUALLY BELIEVES WHAT I WROTE IN THAT LETTER! HOW NAIVE THAT BOY WAS!"

"SIRE!" Screamed the servant, "What about the secret box in the woods?"

There was silence in the main room, for what seemed like hours.

"Go check the box. See if it's there and check inside." Lucifer said with urgency.

There was a flurry of movement as everyone rushed to let the servant through.

Young Sally clutched the box in her hands. Just three years ago she'd dug it up from amongst the tree roots. What she'd found inside shocked her to her core. A ten year old shouldn't find that sort of thing anywhere. She missed her friend Toby. But how would she have known his parents would hide him from the world. Ever since they were kids she'd wondered why he was able to look so good all the time, and once she found out she had to put the mystery away. Sally wasn't prepared to know the dark side of it all.

The servant came back to say he hadn't found anything wrong with the box. But he knew that king Lucifer would be behind bars before he knew the servant was lying. The truth was, Sally had snuck into the castle just in time to hear the king yelling. She immediately sped out through the back, and to the spot she found the box. That's where the servant found her.

Sally had wanted to bury the box before the king found her. Sadly she was too slow. The servant found her. Luckily he knew what the king had done, and knew that he had to pay for what he'd done. So they devised a plan to capture the king, and put the right royal family in charge:
Sally would run to the town's police and show the box to them. Then she'd make sure to show the letters Lucifer sent to his family and a photo of Lucifer in the throne room, on the throne. That way the police would know Lucifer was the one that did the crime.

Meanwhile the servant would be in the throne room with the king in order to make sure the king wouldn't escape. He'd wait for the police to be inside the castle before he shut down the whole building. Well, getting the guards and other servants to do it whilst he distracted the king. That way no one could escape.

He ran and jumped on his father's lap, making it seem as if he'd been in the castle his whole life. Even though his uncle had taken over as king before, and he'd only just been shown around the gigantic structure.

"Toby! Why are you so energetic?" His father asked curiously.

"It's simple father; I was meant to be able to run around this colossal castle without taking up much of my energy. That's why I need to go now, to run off some of my energy! Let's go find the spa's!" He replied, running off into the long halls of the castle.

The new king, Jhonothan, chuckled at his son. He could now let him be himself here. And he didn't have to sorry about cleaning up after the mess he'd made, running around so quickly. He smiled at his wife, the Queen. She was now the queen of his heart and the town. Like she deserved. He just hoped she didn't have to go through what his mother had sadly been through.
