Jessica POV
Walking down the hall towards cheerleading, Alex and I talked about anything and everything dealing with school.
"I just can't think that Mindy would try something like that," Alex stated, "It just doesn't seem like a thing she would do. I understand this situation is hypothetical, however."
I smiled, "I think Mindy would try to tap some of that. " I said with a smirk.
"JESSICA!" Someone screamed from down the hall. I stopped and grimaced, causing Alex to do the same. We both knew the owner of that voice... Stephanie.
Stephanie just so happened to be the QUEEN bitch of the school. She has been trying to be head cheerleader for years, but nobody wanted that as a leader.
"Hey Jessica!" Stephanie said. She looked over at Alex. "Alexandra." Stephanie said with a bored and disgusted tone.
"Stinker." Alex replied with a smirk.
Alex and Stephanie have never got along. Stephanie has a strong belief that tomboys and gays should be banned from cheerleading. She says, and I quote, "They just don't belong. We don't need the girls on the team getting hit on by a girl/boy freak." Stephanie is the most judgmental person in this school.
"What do want, Stephanie?" My tone full of impatience.
She looked taken back for a second, before quickly recovering. "Well, I wanted to ask if we could change the dance for cheer. It just seems... what's the word.." She pretended to think for a minute, "boring."
Alex looked repulsed while I stood casually with an amused smiled on my face.
Just before Alex could put her two cents in, I interrupted. "Stephanie," I calmly said, "This performance isn't for sluts to shake everything hanging out of their skirts. It's for girls passionate for dancing to go to competions for fun with fun dance routines. It doesn't matter what you think, because you aren't the group as a whole."
I turned back to Alex and features for us to keep walking, leaving a baffled Stephanie behind.

We kept doing drills and practices, but Alex judt couldn't shut up. Apparently, what I did and said was mind blowing. I only said what i said to get Stephanie to back off.
"IT WAS SO COOL! She just stood there, so calmly, and said what she said.... and walked away." Alex described vaguely to the other cheer girls.
I groaned with severe annoyance. "Ladies, listen up!" I yelled at the team. All of the girls got quiet. "We need to get to work. Stetches. Who wants to lead?"
All of the girls looked at each other, knowing one of them had to volunteer, or I would keep them in pain for a while.
So once nobody stepped up, I ended up leading them through grueling stretches.
After a half hour of stretching, we moved onto our routine. We were performing group and individual performances to the song This Is Me from the Greatest Showman as our main piece. I chose this song because it really makes the girls think about who they are as a person, and how they want to act and be.
When practicing the solos, a boy walked into the gym. I had seen him around before, but not too often. Everyone knew that it was the "emo" boy, Daniel. He looked so lonely and sad all the time, causing me to just want to run over and give him a big hug. I turned around to see the girls getting reprimanded by Stephanie, causing my anger to flair slightly.
Keep it cool, Jessica, I reminded myself, this is Stephanie we are talking about, just remember that she isn't coach, and none of the girls would listen to her rules.
"Stephanie! Sit out. If you can't handle keeping quiet and to the side, maybe you should be off the team."
Everybody was used to my tough love by now. You don't just join the team and become a mega bitch. No, you learn your place and follow respect.
I felt eyes on the back of my head, so I turned around. When I turned, I saw Daniel looking at me, but he quickly turned around. I slightly frowned when he turned and walked away towards the coaches office. I really just wanted to talk to him...

Once we finished practice, I sent the girls home. I brought Alex back to my place to hang for a while. By the time we got home, it was 6:00pm, and the smell of Chicken and rice hit my nose. My family is mix of white and Puerto Rican, so we have a vast amount of meals.
Once we got inside, Alex immediately left me to go find my older sister, Victoria. Vicky was only a year older than me and Alex, putting her as a senior.
I walked into the kitchen to see my mom cooking and my younger brother doing his homework. Sam was an adorable 7 year old doing that struggles with talking to people. Not only with speech problems, but social anxiety.
"Hey buddy." I kissed the top of his head, then smoothed out his hair, "How was school?" I then walked over to my mom and gave a quick kiss on the cheek so my attention could be on Sam.
"I-it was o-o-kay." He stuttered. I thought it was adorable.
"Were the mean kids picking on you today?" I questioned. When I say the mean kids, I mean Tommy and his group of idiots. They know not to mess with him when I'm around, because I will not hesitate to whoop someone's ass for making my family upset.
He only shrugged. I looked to mom and she just had a slightly sad look on her face. She was more stern and didn't really show her emotions often. That was my dad. She nodded her head towards the stairs, silently telling me to grab my sister and friend.
Going up the stairs, I climbed the steps two at a time, because why Not? Once I got to my sister's room, I did the fastest knock and open the door fast, causing my sister and friend to quickly tear apart from each other.
"Aha!" I yelled triumphantly, "I knew you two had something going on!" I finished in a whisper-yell. "Come along love birds, dinner is waiting for us, then you can suck each other's tongues out."
Alex snorted in an ugly manner as Vicky rolled her eyes. "Your just jealous you don't have someone to kiss secretly." Said my sister.
I scoffed, "As if. And FYI, you two weren't very secret." And with that I shut the door and skipped my way downstairs for some yummy food.

Yay! The first chapter. As I said in the description, this story is not going to fancy or anything because it's just a joke my friend and I started because we got bored during lunch.
