It's been 6 months since we've defeated the Kishin.
Everyone has called Maka a hero, that if she had not delivered that punch to Asura's skull, he would have killed us all.
But she believes that we all deserve credit, cause we had helped in the fight against the Kishin.
The Kishin is finally gone, and we're able to live in peace.
Isn't that what's supposed to happen?
Well it didn't.
Maka's been acting different, ever since the kishin was defeated.
She won't eat.
She won't sleep.
She won't leave her room.
She's cut herself off from the outside world, trapped in her own.
Her soul what was once untouchable, is slowly being corrupted by a small piece of insanity that found its way into her soul.
And she's falling deeper and deeper into the darkness.
Why is this happening?
Is this Asura, trying to find a way back into the world?
Did he curse my meister with his insanity, before his defeat?
What is he planning to do?
All these questions cloud my mind, but no answers came.
It's so confusing.
Maka, why?
Why did he curse you, curse you with his insanity?
He has something in store, I believe this is true.
He's planning a comeback, to be reborn into this world and to destroy us all.
And I'm afraid that if we don't save her now, we may never get another chance to.
She's falling deeper and deeper, trying not to give into this insanity.
But she can't fight it any longer.
She's going crazy, losing her strong grip on herself and her sanity.
Maka, I'll save you.
Even, if it costs me my life.
And that's a promise I'll keep.
