prologue...?

Kaiba was known for his hologram technology, being able to bring dual monsters to life, but this!?!?! It was insane...even his brother didnt like the idea kaiba had in mind for the future of dual monsters. "Seto....I dont think this is safe.." mokuba said to his brother "it'll be fine mokuba, I ran through the system multiple times and there where no errors, it'll be ok." Kaiba responded, the two walked Into a room, inside the room, there was a large, circular playing field in the ground, and on each side was a pillar with a slot for a card.

Kaiba walked over to the left part of the device, his plan for this was to have people literally BECOME dual monsters for duals, first they insert a card into the slot in the pillar, than they step onto one of the card symbols on their side of the field and the machine uses advanced holographic technology to make the dualist into their desired monster. He took out one of his blue eyes white dragons and looked at it "seto...I'd recommend using a weaker monster, I know that you checked the system for any bugs...but it's still too risky-" "nonsense mokuba! It'll work...I know it will." Kaiba hissed, he put his card into the slot and stepped onto one of the card symbols on the playing field, blue light began to shine around him, the system was working.

Or...so he thought....from what was a calm blue light, came a painful shock of blue lightning that ran through kaiba's entire body, he yelled in pain  from the powerful shock, mokuba stared at his brother, whide eyed at what was happening, he quickaly turned the system off and ran out of the control room to his brother, who had collapsed to the floor, smoke rose from seto's body and he had multiple burns from the electricity "get a medic! Seto needs help!" Mokuba said to one of the servants In the room "right away sir!" The servant said before he ran out of the room.

Kaiba groaned, he lifted his head and opened his eyes, he looked around to see that he was in  his room, he sat up and sat at the edge of his bed, one bandaged hand on his aching chest 'what the hell happened!?!?!' He asked himself. he looked around his dark room, He grabbed his jacket and threw it on, thinking that a walk would help him, as he stood up and was about to leave, he was met with a searing pain down his spine, he collapsed onto his hands and knees from the pain that didn't seem to end, he looked at his hands and was met with fear for the first time as silver scales began to cover his hands, his fingers became claws, he dug his claws into the ground as he was met with another burst of pain, the scales had began to sprout all over his body, from his arms, legs, and  his from his back, a long silver tail had sprouted, it slowly lashed as the transformation continued.

Kaiba let out a short, pain-filled yelp as cracking sounds came from his back, soon, a pair of wings sprouted from his spine, along with large, armored scales running from the back of his head down to his tail. Scales covered kaiba's face and his face slightly elongated into a short snout, spikes grew from the corners of his jaws, and his ocean blue eyes went from full of fear to a terryfieing, soul-shattering stare. He panted as he slowly stood up, he looked at his new appearance, he was now half blue eyes. He didnt know how to feel, scared? Amazed? It was difficult to explain....

The sound of closely approaching footsteps where heard "seto! Are you ok?! I heard yelli-" mokuba said in a panic, stopping when he saw his brothers new, terryfieing appearance, kaiba reached out his left hand and went to say something, but all that came out was a short roar, mokuba let out a fear-filled gasp before bolting out of kaiba's room 'mokuba! Stop!!!' Kaiba shouted, but there where no words, only a roar. Mokuba bolted down the hallway, he knew who would be able to help his brother "I'll get yugi, he'll know what to do."
