I climb up the fence and jump down to meet a upset Max.He crossed his arms and shook his head at me as I walked over to him.
“What?”
“What?,that is all you have to say to me!Nikki you went against my orders and left base alone!”
I roll my eyes.I know why he is doing this he fears for my being out there.He is the over protective boyfriend for me.Not literally of course,he has feelings for me,but I just don't feel the same.I mean he doesn't have an ounce of ugly in him.He is a little over six feet tall with brown hair and eyes to match.His face is sculpted like a models would be and his body is toned.
He just doesn't appeal to me,we have nothing in common.He is just so sweet and nice and caring.That would only be a deal breaker to me.I want someone that can relate to me.
I lift the rope of squirrel off of my shoulder and drop it onto his.
“Fifteen squirrels.What did you do today?”
I didn't wait for his reply,I just walked back to my house with a devilish smirk.
