it has been only a few months that you're dating the man of your dreams, kim hongjoong, but it already seemed like ages. times with him were making you feel like you're in heaven. he basically spoiled you with the smallest things, he notices all the small details about you, he was all about your small habits and just you in general.

this day was just like all the others. you woke up next to your wonderful boyfriend, made and ate breakfast together, going to school together. but during the day he acted a little weird. like he was avoiding you. you guys were usually all lovey-dovey and touchy around the other, but he was different this day. and you wanted to know why. you sat down next to him and asked him.

- babe, is anything wrong? - you asked.
- no, not really. why? - he acted a bit cold. that was bothering you.
- because i feel like you're avoiding me. on purpose. did i do something wrong?
- y/n, we shouldn't talk about this right here. - the bell rang interrupting the convo. you felt odd about this whole thing so you waited until you both get home and you could talk about this in peace with no interruption.

- y/n, is everything okay with you guys? i saw hong acting a but weird today. - seonghwa who was sitting next to you, asked.
- yes, we're all fine. i just think that i did something bad and i don't even know what.
- oh, if so, don't you think you forgot something? - seonghwa raised an eyebrow at you.
- umm no? did i forget something? - you were a bit confused.
- ask hong at home. - seonghwa adjusted himself in his seat and looked at the teacher leaving you all confused and dumbfounded.
did i forget something important?

~a few hours later~

hongjoong left from school an hour before you. he must be at home by now, you thought while you were on yoir way home. when you entered your shared apartment, you smelled a really nice smell. like roses and lavender, your two favorite flowers. the lights were dimmed, a very sensual and calming atmosphere could be sensed throughout the apartment. you walked to your shared bedroom where you could see hongjoong standing beside the bed placing rose petals and some nice and smelly lavenders on the sheets. he suddenly noticed you.

- y/n? you're already home?
- yes babe. what are you doing? what is this all for? you were acting weird all day and i want to know why. - you were eager for the reasons of his actions.
- oh my god y/n, sometimes i hate you so much. today is our firsr anniversary, and you totally forgot about it. but i decided to surprise you anyways. - that was when you snapped.
- holy shit, it it today?? - you couldn't believe how forgetful you were.
- yes it is. happy first anniversary i guess. - he said, kind of sadly.
- oh my god baby i'm so so so so so so sorry. how could i forget this?? i love you so much, i definitely don't deserve you. - you were basically begging for his forgiveness.
- okay okay, it's fine babygirl. sometimes we forget things, and these days you were really busy so i understand it fully. - he tried to calm you down.
- are you sure you're not mad at me?
- oh baby, how could i be mad at such a cute and tiny creature like you? i know you didn't do it on purpose or anything. it's fine with me, really.
