I look in the mirror. Another black eye and a cut on my eyebrow.
"I'm sorry, Maggie I didn't mean it. I love you!" Mason says reaching out to hug me but I pull back.
"I.. I need to get something." I say grabing my coat. But I see the anger in his eye come back.
"You better not leave me!" Mason shouts, it was useless though, I was already out the door. "You'll come back! You always do!"
This time ....I won't.
