Ellie watched Penny flirting with Nick across the office. She knew he just wanted to show his childhood friend where he worked, and overall just how he lives his life. She was starting to think she had to worry. She sighed, really wanting to look away.

"Don't overthink that Bishop," Tim whispered following her gaze. She jumped, as she didn't realize that Tim was now right next to her. He threw his bag over his shoulder and softly smiled at Ellie. "I'll see you tomorrow."

Nick was soon heading towards her desk, with Penny close on his heels. The two were laughing and talking. He grabbed his bag and glanced in Ellie's direction.

"Are you leaving soon babe?" Nick asked Ellie softly.

"Soon. I'm just finishing this up." Ellie gestured to her already completed paperwork. Nick made a mental note to ask her why she has been acting strange all day.

"Okay," He replied, clearly hesitant and concerned. "I'll see you tomorrow."

Ellie watched as he led Penny to the elevators.

"No kiss? Yikes." A voice stated as soon as the doors shut. Ellie once again leaped out of her skin. She spun around and saw Kasey has emerged from her lab, her bag on her shoulder.

"Come on, don't put anything into her head." Jimmy pleaded. "Bishop, I'm sure it's nothing. Nick wouldn't do that to you."

"Not on purpose." Kasey replied under her breath with a sing-song tone.

"Kasey!" Jimmy exclaimed.

"It's okay Jimmy." Ellie sighed. She stood up and slipped her jacket on, ready to head back to her apartment.

Out in the parking lot Nick and Penny ran into Tim.

"Torres. Check on Ellie tonight, alright?"

"Why? Did she say something to you?"

Tim waited until Nick shut the car door, once Penny entered. "She's starting to worry."

"Wait, about," Nick started to ask. Tim just nodded before Nick could finish his question. Nick nodded as he got into the car to drive Penny to the airport. He drove to Ellie's apartment and saw her car was there.

She was surprisingly quick to answer the door after Nick knocked. She had a zipup hoodie on and her hair was thrown up messily into a bun. He noticed she was drinking wine and eating takeout.

"I'm sorry Penny was hitting on me today." Nick is tough. He isn't one to apologize for his actions, because he always feels like he's "going with his gut" whether it be in the field or not. But when it comes to Ellie, his whole demeanor changes.

"It hurt because you didn't try to stop her." Ellie sighed, moving aside so Nick could come in. He entered, following Ellie to the couch. "Should I be worried?"

Nick shook his head no, looking at her with soft eyes. "Ellie, nothing is ever going to happen with Penny and I.

"Okay." Ellie smiled.

"C'mere." He said, his arms opened. She moved in closer, resting her head on Nick's shoulder.

"Eleanor Raye Bishop was jealous today." He teased. She laughed and hit him playfully on the chest.

"Shut up." She laughed. He chuckled and kissed her head. She sat up so he had better access to kiss her. He kissed her softly. She went back in for more, and before either of them knew it, they were making out.

"I'm so sorry." Nick whispered in between kisses. Ellie had her arms around his neck.

"It's okay." She replied.
