Lily's POV Chapter 7

Start from the beginning

Holly always says that her boyfriend is coming to family gatherings and events, but then he never shows up. She tells everyone that her guy has to work. But our parents always ask for proof of there actually being a man in her life and seems to me that she's always two steps ahead of them. She will go up to a random guy on the street and will ask to take a few pictures with him and have him record a few messages including the break-up one for her to use as proof. I figure that money is included, but she never tells me that part.

I'm really shocked that no one has called her out on it yet. But I'm positive that she's already planned out on what to say to get herself out of each and every situation. I hope that the right guy will come in Holly's life soon because she deserves to be happy with a man who chooses her too. And while I'm on the subject, I hope that all of my siblings will find the mate that was made for them!

I was so relieved that my big sister spoke up when she did so that I didn't have to play twenty questions with each person at this massive table. Axel is my first and hopefully my only boyfriend! I'm sure that Axel will pass the tests with flying colors though. He's a perfect gentleman and treats me right.

As my family started to just eat, I locked eyes with Holly as she slyly nodded at me. I wanted to smile at her, but I didn't want to draw more attention to myself and spoil my surprise in the process.

After dinner, I helped Mom clean up like I usually do. As I was loading up the second dishwasher, Holly whispered that we were going to have a Triple C sister hangout time when I was done! I wanted to leave right then, but my sister didn't want to draw attention to us. So I took a deep breath and continued the task at hand. When the kitchen looked good, I started to head back to my apartment via the hallway, but one again, Holly got in my way. She yanked my hand and straight to the backyard we went. Then we walked quickly and quietly to our place. Before she opened the door, I tapped on her shoulder as she glanced back at me.

"Um why did we take the long way?" I asked, whispering.

"Mom and Dad don't want us to go back to our place too quickly after dinner. So we have to sneak around to get some secret sister time," she replied as she whispered back to me.

I nodded as she opened the door.

"Well that took a lifetime," Bay said, when Holly closed the door.

"Lily was cleaning the kitchen again," Holly replied.

"Well who else was going to do it?" I asked, defending myself.

"Um the maids, its their job anyway." (Bay's so much like Holly that it's kinda scary.)

"Ladies, ladies, let's not spend our time fighting, okay? The boys would be back soon," Avery spoke up.

(I questioned sisters about the boys whereabouts, and according to Holly, they were playing basketball.)

"So um what should we do with our Triple C sister time?"

(Technically London is a part of this group too, but she was playing with Leah at the time.)

My sisters just looked at me and just smiled.

(What's really going on here?)

"We saw your finger slowly rise before Holly bailed you out. What was that about?" Bay asked, crossing her arms.

"Is Axel coming on Saturday?" Avery asked, with a light smile.

(I don't want to lie to my sisters and I had a feeling that they already knew. So I just smiled and nodded.)

Suddenly the three girls all attacked me with hugs! Then we spent a good while just talking about Axel and I! It was so much fun and I didn't want it to end! But then all of a sudden, the back door flew open and the odor of sweating boys filled the room as Dylan turned on the lights. I like having the lights off and a few candles to light the room. It feel it makes the room feel more calm and peaceful.
