Lily's POV Chapter 7

Start from the beginning

My brothers argued about this matter and Dylan gave our little brother a piece of his mind until we got into the main house. My roommates and I try not to fight there because it's so loud already, we want to be more help than trouble and our parents don't need us to be extra.

"Hey guys," I said, whispering as they all turned around and looked at me. "No one tell Mom and Dad about you know who, okay?" I asked the group, still whispering.

"Who?" our little brother asked.

Dylan then had to spell it out for Josh about keeping quiet about me have a boyfriend. He nodded as a sign that he understood, but I really hoped he did.

Then the four of us, walked straight into the kitchen to see it was all set, a few dishes were already on the table and our twin sisters were talking to Mom. Suddenly, Teddy, one of our many dogs came to greet me! Our golden retriever is such a cuddle monster that he has the perfect name, Teddy! As I went down to pet him, I heard a scream. I jumped back up to see Bay smack Josh's shoulder hard. Later on, I found out from Holly, that Josh had given Bay a wet willie. He's such a stinker brother sometimes. Dylan then gave Josh a wet willie back to get revenge for Bay.

In light of the crazy sibling exchange that just happened, Mom sent Josh, Holly and Dylan out to go get the other kids and Dad too. While they were gone, I was an actual help to Mom and not like a problem like Joshua was. (I'm so fed up with his behavior honestly.)

Both Bay and A know about Axel and I, so I can't wait to tell them later about about my date today! I just hope that I don't do or say anything to make Mom ask if I'm dating because I'm not good at keeping secrets, including my own.  I want my parents to find out together on Saturday about Axel and I. Sure they know of him because of his blood connection to Sydney, but hopefully they'll approve of him for me.

(I've been told by a few of my siblings that I should never play poker. I'm not much of a gambler, but now I have a legit reason why I can't play that card game.)

Suddenly, the roar of my other siblings and my father got me out of my daydream. Then we all gathered at the table for dinner.

"So did everyone get my text about Saturday?"

My siblings and I looked at Mom and nodded.

"Well no one responded, so I wasn't sure if any of you got it."

(I can't believe that we all didn't at least like her text. I'm usually the first one to respond, but this time I was reoccupied with Axel to answer back. Some of my siblings have a tendency to read it and then forget to text back. But at least I didn't straight up ignore it like Joshua.)

"So can you all make it?"

We all nodded in union again.

"Good. Now how many of you are bringing dates?"

Dylan, Josh, Avery and Bayley raised their hands. Well if I'm honest, the boys just lifted their pointer fingers.

"Okay anyone else?" (Mom was making a list for the meet and greet.)

I was about to raise my hand when something unexpected happened.

"Put me on that list too, Mom," Holly said, raising her hand.

My sister is very private about her love life, just like she is about most areas of her life. But since I'm both her best friend and her favorite sister, I know she hasn't really dated anyone like ever. Oh sure she's had dates, but none of the guys turned into more than that. She has really high standards and as far as I know, none of those guys had passed Uncle Mason's tests either.
