Gun Atthaphan has always been the cheery one. Always smiling and laughing at the most simplest things. Clinging at everyone and being his naturally cute self. Everyone got so used to seeing him all smiley and jolly, that everybody grew concerned at the instance that they didn't hear his laughter inside the building when they were full aware that he was there. And so everybody turned to the one that they know who can and might know what happened to the boy. Off Jumpol.

Off was holding a bunch of coffee for everyone as an apology for being late, but the moment he entered the building, no one even cared about his tardiness and only kept asking about Gun's condition. Being only aware of this, he of course was shocked and concerned for his 4-year friend. He distributed the coffee to everyone quietly, while also looking around for the 5-foot-6 boy. And the instance he saw him, he knew.

'It's one of those days again..'

Gun was seen on the usual sofa in the office, lying down on his side as usual, and scrolling on his phone as always. But his eyes were not on the phone at all and was just staring into whatever his thought got lost into while his finger was mindlessly scrolling the phone.

The older one of the two slowly walked to the latter, breath held in and feet are light. As if the mere sound of his steps and breath will disrupt the other. The whole office was quiet too, seemingly affected by the mood of the boy in question.

Once Off was in front of Gun, he went unnoticed so he crouched in front of him and softly brushed his hand on the others hair. This might have woken the other up from his thoughts and his eyes immediately found the older's. Off just rested his hand on Gun's head and didn't cease to brush his thumb on his brows.

"Hey... want to go back with P' to his room?" Off softly asked, afraid that any louder than this and the boy would break like a glass.

"But our schedul-"

"P'Godji said it's postponed due to some reasons."

He lied. He hasn't even seen P'Godji. But he knows P' would understand once he explains it any day after.

The smaller just silently nods his head and took his bag. Standing beside his most trusted friend and hugging his arm like his life depends on it. Off even took one of his hand in his and squeezes it, knowing how much it comforts the other. He sent a glance to one of the staff, not even having to say anything as he just received a nod and a worried smile.

They walked to the elevator and left the building, letting the silence envelope them until they're in the confine of Off's room.

They took off their shoes and pants, Off lending one of his pajama shorts to Gun then they lied down on the bed. As unusual as it may seem, they were just both on their backs. Pillows beneath their heads. Blanket up to their chests. Just lying still. But this isn't the first time it happened.

The room is gloomy with silence. The tick and tock of the clock is heard. The rumbling of every cars outside. Even the bark of a street dog across the street. A steady and light breathing from one side of the bed, and a shaky and deep breath from the other. This continued on for a few more minutes until the light squeak of the bed and rustling of blanket broke the silence. The smaller of the two slid closer to the other, and like a routine already done countless of times, Off just stretched his arm and let Gun take it as a pillow. Wrap it around his shoulder once he was resting his head on his chest, the other on his waist. The grip of Gun on his shirt tight and unmoving.

"Sshhh... it's okay.. P' is here.. I'm listening.."

Off's low voice finally added to the sound in the room.
