Koalas are in very big danger in Australia. Especially with all the fire going on. A lot of koalas get burned up and die, some of them live with the pain a couple of months and then they die. And thats just so horrible. Just the fact that they die.. it's so sad. I wish i could help them but sadly, i can't.
Well, let's get into the fact about koalas..
The koala sleeps up til 18 hours a day! And that's crazy. They are mostly up on the night.
In the nature they can get up to 20 years old, but the first 6 months they are too afraid to come out from their moms pouch. But after those six months, they come out to the real world. But after those 6 months they live on their moms back until they are 3.
The koala is fully grown up when they are 4. And that's when they have to find a place to live by their self.
The koala gives birth 30 days after the fertilization.
A koala only uses 15 minutes per day to "rest".
4000 koalas dies every year by either cars or dogs.
The koala is a very interesting animal, the facts you get to know about them, you just don't believe it at first. For example, about how much they sleep on a day.
Koalas are grey with a black nose. They can move very fast on the ground. A lot of people think that they are really slow, but they are not that slow on the ground, but in trees. That's where they can get really slow
