Part 2

"Hey, are you okay?"

I jerked my head up and heard some girl talking to me through the stall. I stepped out and and looked around. There was a girl my age that I've never seen before. I probably have, but I barely notice. All the sttudents in this school look the same to me. She had straight brown hair nad golden brown eyes, and she seemed pretty nice.

"I'm Alex, are you alright?"

I shook my head yes, but she still stared. She pulled me into a hug and tried to comfort me.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" she was saying.

Why the hell would I want to talk about it, especially with her? I mean I just met her. I barely knew her enough to know if I could trust her or not. I once again shook my head, but this time saying no, and she let me out of her hug. She turned me to face the mirror, and I noticed I was a mess. My eyes were all puffy and red, and my face was all blotchy.

Alex giggled a bit befoe saying, "I'll help you clean up."

She grabbed paper towels and handed them to me, and I rubbed all of the tears off of my face. They were all dried up, so I washed them off under the sink. She took a tiny bag out of her purse and began applying makeup on my face.

"Thank god we have the same skintone."

I nudged her and said, "What are you doing?"

"Makeup," she replied. "You never put it on before?"

"No," I said, and her jaw dropped.

"Well you're so pretty as it is, maybe that's why," she smiled.

Me, pretty? Who was she trying to fool? I let her put on some makeup anyway, I figured she wasn't going to leave until I let her be some help. After she was done, I grabbed my backpack.

"Gotta go, " I stated.

"I'll walk with you to lunch..." she said.

Lunch?! I was in the bathroom for three hours! Ew, I fell asleep in the bathroom and I didn't even notice!

"I have to go to my locker," I told her before leaving.

I headed to my locker and found some couple making out in front of it.

"Move," I said shoving them.

"Pathetic," the girl said.

She glared at me and I stared back. It was Keri, the meanest girl in school. She was a senior, not to mention one of the sluts I was talking about. She was making out with Kevin, one of the basketball players. I'm guessing he's her newest hook-up.

I opened my locker and put my backpack inside, and took out my English textbook. I began walking toward the cafeteria. I entered and it was all full. I scanned the room for a seat, but I couldn't find one. I walked slowly, hoping a seat would magically appear.

"Hey!" someone called out.

I turned and saw Alex waving her arm at me. She told me to come sit with her. Her friends were looking over at me, giving me a bunch of warm welcoming smiles. I went to go sit with them. I regret being kind of sour to Alex earlier in the bathroom, she just wanted to help. I seem to like her now. 

"I never got your name earlier?" Alex said, but it sounded more like a question.

"Allison," I told her.

"Ahh so your Alli."

"Yeah.."

"Well anyway, meet my friends."

They waved and said hi.

"That's Liam, Stasee, Jenni, and Seth," Alex told me.

Now I knew who they were. They were some of the some-what popular kids. A few of them were actually popular, like Stasee, and Seth...Wait, where have I seen his face before? I couldn't think of it until Matt came walking to our table.

"Hey babe," he smirked at me. He's such a bastard. I glared at him and he came and stood over me, putting his hands on my shoulders. Alex noticed I was uncomfortable, so she pushed his arms off.

"Lay off, Matt," Alex said.

He just shrugged and began to leave. As I watched him walk away, my eyes flew back at Seth. He was the guy that told Matt to stop before, ughh I hate him! He just stood there watching, he could've done something! He met my eyes and then quickly looked away. "Good," I thought. I intimidate him. I looked at everyone else, and caught Liam staring at me.

"Hey," he said.

"Hi," I muttered back.

"I've seen you around school..."

No duh, we go to the same school.

"Cool," I said. I wanted to laugh, obviously he was trying to flirt, but he failed.

"Can I get your number?" he winked.

"Woah Liam, chill, save that for later," Jenni said. "Let's discuss Friday night."

Alex turned to me to explain. "Every Friday, we hang out, so you should come."

"Yeppp, but this time it's a partyyy!" Stasee cheered.

Seth stayed quiet the whole time during lunch. I was happy, he shouldn't say anything. After the bell rang, everyone got up to go to their last class. Alex decided to walk to my next class with me, and I found out that all of our classes were the same. We walked inside and sat next to each other. The teacher, Ms. Bell, was yelliing at another student named Billy for not doing his homework for the past week. All the other students were busy chatting away about how stupid, or exciting their lives were. I began thinking about my life, and how it was pretty crappy. At least I finally made some friends today..

"Earth to Alli," Alex was saying.

"Huh..what?" I asked.

She laughed. "I was saying, what are you gonna wear Friday night?"

Did it matter?

"Yes it does! Half the school is going to be there!" Alex laughed.

Whoops, I hadn't noticed I'd said that out loud.

"Oh, well I don't know." I replied.

"Come on..I'll help you!"

I stared at her and giggled. Was she really serious over some dumb outfit? It's not like I had anything good in my closet. My parents do mail me a bunch of cash every week, but I never really spend them unless I really have to. And buying stupid clothes for every little thing was not one of them.

"Mall, after school, okay?" Alex ordered me.

"Fine," I said.

This was going to fun.
