"You guys are going to be the ones who tire me out today, not the villains!" You sighed.
"Watch out!" Midoriya had kicked one of Gang Orca's followers who was trying to creep up from your blind spot.
"You have energy now right, Inasa?!" You yelled, shaking his shoulder with your free hand. You had just given him some of yours energy. "Fight Gang Orca while I rescue Todoroki!"
"I'll make it up to you!" He nodded as you bent over with your feet under you.
"I'm counting on you!" You propelled yourself forward, snatching the red-and-white-haired boy who was laying on the ground.
You felt Inasa's wind lift you from behind as you dragged Todoroki to the outskirts of the battle, pressing your hands to his forehead. "Get your shit together!" You yelled, passing your energy into him. "You have a common enemy!"
Todoroki stayed silent. He wasn't sure what to say to you in response. "I'll fix this."
After a few moments, you released him. He was able to stand on his feet now.
"I'm going back to the injured!" You yelled out while running in the opposite direction of Gang Orca. "I'm counting on you three!"
"Leave it to me!" Midoriya yelled in reply.
You ran over and picked up an injured Shindo, placing him on your back. "We're going to have to leave it to them."
"They suck." Shindo weakly muttered. "Why were they even fighting?"
"They do suck." You sighed as you continued to run in the direction of the new first-aid area. "But they're our only hope right now."
As soon as you and Shindo had arrived at the safe zone, the buzzer went off, signaling the end of the exam.
"Are you okay?" You removed the Ketsubutsu student from your back and pressed your palm to his, transferring him energy so that he could at least walk on his own.
"Yeah." Shindo nodded. "Thanks."
"Anytime!" You patted his shoulder and ran off.
You spotted a familiar tuff of ash-blonde hair and jumped onto his back.
"What the-?" Bakugou yelled, trying to regain his balance. You released him and he turned to face you.
"Katsuki, how did you do?" You asked curiously. "How many people did you save?"
"Why does it matter?" He muttered under his breath.
"Bakugou got a lot of points taken off for his attitude." Kirishima informed you.
"That's not good!" You warned. "We can't drop below 50 points!"
"The names of those who passed are on this list." The proctor brought up a digital list of names just as you said this.
"I passed!" You dropped to the floor out of relief. "Thank goodness."
"Hah?!" The male next to you eagerly searched for his name which wasn't present. "It's not there!" Bakugou gave off a scary expression.
"Yo!" Inasa searched for his own name. "Yoarashi!" Again, it wasn't up there.
You glanced at the board and neither was Todoroki's name.
"Crazy." Kirishima muttered, helping you up from the ground.
"Why did shitty hair pass but I didn't?!" Bakugou was outraged.
You laughed nervously at his anger.
"Todoroki!" Inasa was walking toward said boy and bowed until his head met with the ground. "I'm sorry that you didn't pass! It's my fault!"
"Perfect kancho position." You whispered to Kirishima who bursted out laughing at your comment.
"I started it in the first place." Todoroki was bowing too. "I'm also at fault."
The score breakdown for each individual was being passed out. You sighed when you saw your high score. "I'm just glad I didn't fail." You muttered.
It was announced that those who passed were able to act independently during crises, and that those who didn't pass are able to take a three month-long course with an independent test in order to receive their licenses. Of course, they were also allowed to take the test again in April.
"Isn't that nice, Bakugou?" Kaminari teased the hotheaded male.
"Shut up!" Bakugou yelled.
"I'm tired." You muttered groggily.
You were the first to leave after being dismissed.
As soon as you exited the changing rooms, a familiar shaved-head approached you.
"(Name)!" He ran over to you. "I realize what you were trying to tell me about that Todoroki boy, now."
"Okay, that's good." You nodded, yawning.
"I still don't like him, but I want to apologize to you for doubting you." Inasa bowed deeply just as he had done before.
"It's fine." You squatted down and patted his head while laughing. "Also, stop bending over so much. Anyone could kancho you at any moment."
"Okay!" He suddenly raised his head, accidentally head-butting your face.
"Ow!" Your eyes watered as blood spurted from your nose.
"Sorry!" Inasa panicked. He carried you to the nearest bathroom, bridal style.
"You can't come in here!" You scolded as you pinched your nose, walking in to wash your blood stained face. "This is the ladies' room."
"Baldy!" Bakugou could be heard approaching. He practically growled. His second time today. "What did you do?!"
"I'm fine, Katsuki." You sighed, walking out of the bathroom. "It was an accident."
"I'm really sorry." Inasa was super apologetic for some reason.
"I told you it's okay." You laughed at his expression. "Stop looking so sad. It doesn't suit you."
"Let's go, dammit." Bakugou lifted you up bridal-style.
"Bye Inasa!" You waved as you wrapped your arms around Bakugou's neck.
"You don't have to say bye to him." Bakugou grunted. "He made you bleed."
"But he's my friend." You giggled at his jealous attitude. "By the way, you picked me up like this because you saw Inasa do it, right?"
"Shut up!" Bakugou sped up his pace.
"Hahah!" You laughed triumphantly. "I knew it! You're so cute, Katsuki!"
Inasa stared at the two of you intensely. "So that's who she likes, huh?" He turned around and clenched his fists. "No matter how I see it, I'm still better."
He had declared war with Bakugou and the latter didn't even know it yet.
